2nd input of the effects channel on the musician, everything turned 6 (trem off) so 666+666+666 is great for fingers, nails, clean or dirt and with reverb.
I know I've heard the last album, maybe the one before. The only stuff I've heard from them is all the very moody/proggy sounding stuff. Was it instrumental before? I honestly can't remember. I've listened to them a bunch over the past few years, but I don't own any of their albums. They just pop up on doom/stoner/sludge centric blogs, usually the Euro ones.

Had an epic dream that I was the secret boy King of England during WWII and had been living in the pacific to avoid the blitz, flying around with two friends in unmarked planes avoiding Japanese.
Then landing on a naval base, I realized I should experience and be a part of the war. So I got a sawed off enfield and took part in a raid to save some prisoners with John Wayne as my commander.
Well I shot a big snake on the trail and Marion expressed his disappointment and I woke up... No raid for me

hahaha, I only cooked for a year or so, but yeah, I mise at home, I say "behind", and I roll my eyes when people say they have a stressful job. Of course, being in the Army probably accounts for most of that last one. If no one is shooting at me, or is in danger of dieing, it's really not THAT important, is it?

Yup every Peavey I own is run at all 6s, or at least it starts there, maybe tweaked a little.
Its riffs>vox on the first one, I like the rawer production. Less pop more satan overall.

I've been swamped most of the time at work since week before last. Not that I have much to talk about lately anyway, I haven't really played any music in months. Hopefully I'll be recording some new gear demo clips in the near future though.
Still waiting on the head shell to get built for Mr. Grumpy. It should be soon, Nick sent me a picture of some progress on it recently from Mammoth. I'm getting some Dunwich pedals to do demo clips on soon. Other than that I haven't been playing music. I quit looking for drummers after a year of no luck and I haven't had any motivation to write anything at home lately. In kind of a slump I guess. A friend hit me up about working on a project recently, but it's nothing stoner/doom related unfortunately. Once Mr. Grumpy gets here and I have a chance to play some loud jams by myself, I might get inspired to start writing solo material again.

Ironically, though, the USA made a lot more difference to the defeat of Germany in WWI than in WWII, despite much shorter involvement. The USA came in when Germany had just gone from fighting a two-front war to a single front one and essentially stopped the momentum of the last German offensive (which had been taking quite a bit of territory, compared to the previous few years). The main difference the USA made in Europe in WWII was shortening the war, and our involvement resulted in a lot less of Europe being in the eastern bloc after WWII than otherwise would have been.
Indeed. Some of the brutal weather in the USA is actually in the Dakotas. Coastal areas tend to experience less severe winters than inland areas, for the reason mentioned... the ocean tends to act as an insulator of a sort.

Egyptian religion was not particularly bloodthirsty compared to other ancient religious practices (even if they did practice ritual masochism and scarification). Then again, in the ancient world, Egypt was kind of an ideal type of area, as at least at the time, the Nile was very predictable in its patterns, usually flooding the same amount every year, so agriculture was relatively easy and natural disasters were few... so, among ancient deities, the Egyptian ones tend to be mostly pretty chill, at least compared to Minoan ones (which demanded ritual human sacrifice and cannibalism), the Mesopotamian ones, or the later Greek ones. Or, with the Americas, the Mayan or Aztec deities.

due to a slow work day i've now started putting together a design for a phantom powered active DI box.. with a meatbox clone inside. i'm excited.
