Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

Well shaved hair is more like fuzz so I guess you guys are being topical.

Photos when my house looks less crazy, but I got them drums. Holy hell it's even more than I expected. All the cymbals and drums, excellent hardware, extra parts and hardware, tambourine, cow bell Timbale thing. Jesus even almost new heads and extra heads. Cases for everything but the shells are hardware.

The 22" ride is gerdderm hooge!

I used to have the MXR envelope and loved it. Only sold it to fund amps/cabs and because I wasn't using it in my metal project. It seemed to lose a little low end when used without a parallel clean, but it was the most fun and responsive filter I have played. I'll be getting another eventually.
Nice! And from a fellow St. Louisan... gonna have to check it out. Unless a Joyo Filter comes well recommended.

Tonight was a struggle, but 5 miles and 20 quid later i am armed with this. Just the distortion sounds great... need a 1/4" peavey switch pedal now... anyone got schematics?

Morning started out well: up early, good weather, nice run outside. Then I tried to drive to work, uh-oh, keys were left in the ignition in the radio-on position, battery deader than a doornail. Bummed a ride to the office from the Mrs., who's on spring break.

That's what I get for blasting Blood Lust by Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats out of my wagon's hatch while moving gear around...

Coffee time.

Kawai the girlfriend's father and I were working on her car last night and after we got done and cleaned up to have dinner I showed him the Jazzguarbird and he took it for a spin. What does he play...Chicago Transit Authority LOL. Sarah must love the pedals because she was click that one on for Daddy, Joe. I kicked on ol' Ron FN Swanson Super Fuzz and his eyes popped open and he had a poopie-eatin' grin from ear to ear. Fuzz warms your heart!
So nice to hear other people playing your gear so you can really hear how it sounds.
