My pig and goat are shedding their coats too. I love micro elephant look season of pig. I want to put a fake trunk on him. On the drive in to work I noticed the cherry blossoms are in bloom. Daffodils are out too. No robins yet though, that is the sure sign that shite season is over.

I still do like the bass a whole lot. I'd keep it if finances weren't pressing. It is easily my favorite commercially available body shape and I LOVE a J neck on a P. In general though, I think I would be happier with an SB1 or an LB100.

Speaking of T40. Has anyone hear either tried or heard of a T40 being modded to a sort of Peavey-backer? Since the pickups/volume/tone are each independent circuits, I would think it would facilitate ric-o-sound applications.

There is a cherry T45 back at the Musicgoround in Wilkes-Barre that is haunting me since I gave it a diddle while back home for Thanksgiving.

This is off even from the off topic we're off on, but years ago I had a very vivid dream in which I was in Bremerton, WA.

The odd thing is, I wasn't consciously aware, nor did I have a conscious memory, of even knowing there was a town by that name in Washington or anywhere else.

When I woke up the dream stuck with me so deeply I looked it up and was somewhat awed finding out it was a real place. Prior to this dream I had spent some time in NorCal and Portland, OR but had never been to Washington state.

I lived in Portland from 2009 to the end of 2013 and I did make some forays into Washington, but never saw Bremerton.

I really should have made the effort. I still remember what the town looked like in my dream (although in my dream it had more of the look of an old Northeastern/New England town to me.)

We left the PNW rather suddenly. I had planned to hit Bremerton; it just never happened.

What do they have on it? There's a sunburst T45 here at a local pawn/music shop. I think they have $349-$400 on it, but they overprice everything. They do haggle and deal though.

It's a darn nice bass. I just don't care for the neck on it. Too thin for me.

I had uncovered our perennials two weeks ago because it was warm and the daffodils were starting to poke out, had to cover them again because we've had consistent below freezing nights for the last 7-10 days. No blossoms on any trees yet - not for a while.

Thinking about buying another looper. Probably snatch up a used TC Ditto but this EHX 360 looks cool, especially the ability to save 11 loops to memory on a simple setup.

Daffodils are a big deal in the county I work for. They have an annual daffodil festival. They are planted all over here and behind my work is a small daffodil farm.

Dang it sold. They had it for $299 but they had a note on it to make an offer. I never saw them do that before.

I am trying real hard not to get too pedal-happy. I used to literally have a five-drawer dresser (with pretty deep drawers) that was jam packed with effects. Some of them would have been worth quite a lot now, but I sold/traded a lot of them and the rest were claimed by flood.

At the moment all I have is an old Dano trem pedal (which I've never even run a bass through) and an MXR El Grande fuzz.

I keep telling myself I don't need or want anything else, but coming to this thread only reinforces how wrong that line of thought it...

I don't need but I always want them LOL. They are the most affordable splurge I can have and even then I sell some off to buy something else to try. I still like to have eight to twelve around for company. The problem is you get a flavor you like and then you think is that the best version of that flavor out there...

Yeah, they are fun as hell for sure. There are several I wish I had back. I had an old EHX ring modulator that was boobies. Several variations of Muffs...micro-synth...damn.

I keep trying to remind myself: I am a caveman player. I mean, I can get a little fancier and I am working on more scales & exercise stuff, but as far as the gear I actually play, I keep it pretty cheap and simple.

I'd love nothing more than a rig of doom that was powerful enough to literally levitate an audience, but I don't see it happening.

I hope very much to get back into jamming with people and gigging soon, but I have a sneaking feeling that about the best I'll end up with is some kind of combo amp. It may well be a year before I can spend any kind of real $$$ on ampage...

It's funny how you dwell on the pedal flip too. I finally landed the Doomy Fuzzy pedal that was in my head the Tyrant, but of course it has such insane amount of volume it is off kilter with my other pedals. So then I find out it's big brother is the Burial at Sea pedal, same circuit but has volume, tone, and second switch for crazy oscillation stuff. So I list the Tyrant and waiting for that to go to buy the Burial at Sea, because no sense in two of the same circuit and not just buy, buy, buy. But, but, but I got to have that Burial at Sea, I just got to LOL. Plus it is pure laziness because if I run it into my Hellcat I can control the volume there anyway, but for some reason I like to hear the Tryant alone without other dirt, then into my modulation pedals, so I can make noise that probably doesn't even resemble music LOL.

I've really been wanting a Fairfield Barbershop pedal for awhile now. There's a small local music shop in my area that mainly does pedals and repairs. The owner of Big Ear NYC was there all day yesterday showing off his pedals. He's a bass player so the idea of not losing any low end is very important to him. All his pedals sounded amazing to me, but I was looking for an always on low gain boost that stacks well. Walked out with this

seriously great sounding pedal. Used it last night on a doubling gig. Set my Mesa M9 to sound it's best on the upright and used this pedal on electric. Was able to get a really nice sound without having to change my amps eq. That really helped for fast changes since the band does 4 hours sets with no set list. Highly recommend this stuff

I went through like 20 or so pedals last year, settled on 11 I have now, but after buying the DOD 250 I'm suddenly completely pedal GAS free. Actually started downscaling a bit. I don't really need so much modulation and 3 fuzzes (altough I'll keep my 2 OD's). On the other hand, I'd rater have that wah, delay, chorus and whatnot than wish I had one when I finally find a use for it.
