Never mind Max, where's 99?
I did think 30 inch scale was a bit of a stretch for other than power chords like 27 or 28 inches might be more comfy for baritone tuning.
No Pandora didn't mention it, I was fooling around on Grooveshark listening to Americana then just felt in the mood for 13th Floor.
I don't know that much about the SUP's but if the river is bumpy I think a yak would be better. They seem to book on open water though, but if it got windy the way your were going I bet it would be tougher to get back home then on the yak since you would be catching all the wind with your whole body. I was watching a guy surfing with one down OBX a few years back. He caught the waves faster than surfers/boogey boarders, caught more waves, rode the waves farther, and never fell off the board. That was the longboard surfing kind though.
This is what I would love to have the Liquid Logic Versa Board. Converts from SUP to YAK.

i've been sick as hell the past few days and have been demolishing video games. over the past few weeks i've beaten saints row 1, 2, 3, 4 and GooH, Far Cry 2 and 3, Bioshock Infinite, and starting a playthrough of Mass Effect 2 and 3 with my girlfriend. plus i am about halfway through Bioshock 1 for the first time - Bioshock 2 on standby. then i'll stop and not play games for like 6 months.

the show went really well overall. Turnout coulda been better but could have been a whole lot worse. We raised $276 for Crisis Nursery of Phoenix. We played well despite some technical drum issues early on that took a few minutes to fix, so I got to play live that bass solo I wrote when I was 17Beyonce "Halo" cover largely met with confused looks though the double-time outro got 'em into it.
I've never tried a stand-up paddle board, never understood why you want to stand when you can sit in a canoe or kayak. I think for anything other than tooling around a lake/bay you're just going to get tired of standing up.
I love Kayaking, would really like to get a couple of them, Madison is great for small boats. One of my good friends spends his summers on a lake in the Upper Peninsula, every morning and every evening we're out there in the kayaks watching the bald eagles, loons, heron and cranes.
Lady friend went clothes shopping this weekend so Im buying a Bear amps Muff, thats how it works right?
Man I got KAS now...I love fishing with kayaks, you can get into so many tight weeded honey holes. Problem is if you catch a big one, it drags you around the lake haha
Pretty sure mines 24 3/4" scale. Maybe 25.5"
Dad rock rules.
Well, dad's rocking can sure rule, but when I think "dad rock" it's usually not the kind of thing I want to listen to.
;-)
Fortunately dad rock is not a genre.
Never mind Max, where's 99?
Definitely has a "cool" factor. And I know a lot of the hype stems from the cross-fit full body workout thing.
I got a kayak cheap, no SUP is near that price. Id rather spend 1/4 the price and be out on the lake than saving all spring and summer for the SUP. Also I could always sell the kayak without a loss and get a SUP of that were the case.
As we speak my friend just asked to find her a kayak, so that works for me. Screw my dude friend and his SUP dream lol.
That second paragraph comes of as rather sexual metaphor. Sounds like you'd need a safe word.
Mine is sassafras!
I dunno...I've heard a lot of more mellow "classic rock" referred to as "dad rock." Some Eagles, mid-70s era Clapton, Kenny Loggins, Steve Miller Band...
I wouldn't want to be the one who classifies music into subgenres though. That would get weird really quick: "okay, file this under death-ska-polka..."
yeah nevermind that guy, i heat he likes beginner peavey amps.
How bout FISH ON!!!!!
Lol dumb question but do fish bite? Not a sexual metaphor...
I've only ever caught perch and small mouth bass as a kid. And I'd get "finned". But never went for anything bigger and if I got a catfish my grandpa unhooked it as he wanted them handled carefully as he stocked his pond.
Two birds sitting on a perch, what did one say to the other?...
The fugg off my perch before I get all thug on j'ass?
Is that a giant gar in the first pic?
