Anyone try a EHX Bad stone? same price as a nano small stone. Has more options and appears to be a stronger phase. I think that just might be the not super expensive, one modulation for the stereo setup.
I haven't heard the new one, i have a first gen one (avatar photo) that sounds ok, nothing earth shattering.
Just saw your avatar in the ehx guitar demo. The concept of it being a stronger phase and more control is a bonus as I am trying to keep the board to 4 pedals and want the modulation to stand out. I like the manual cocked wah concept, though I think it would make more sense rehoused like my blue beard for a second stomp switch to activate it. Also maybe because it was a guitar demo, but I feel it would go better on the brighter dirtier side of the stereo setup, whereas a small stone would be more at home on the bassy side.

Given enough misuse and neglect they all end up that way...
I really dig their singer but the production is so over-the-top pop its is almost unlistenable.

Over processed is fine. Compressed to hell is fine. It's mixed like a Beyonce tune: 50% of the mix is her voice 25% is the drum track and any melody instruments have to fight for the rest.
"Rock" music of any sort can't be mixed this way and still feel life "rock" music.
So the nano bad stone is only like a month old no wonder there is no bass info.
If I like it, I'm really tempted now to rehouse and retrofit for a second foot switch. If possible an expression out on the manual sweep knob. Then I can phaser or stomp and wah.
