I agree with the 1st bass thing. I'll never sell it. It's not a spectacular bass, I only play it a handful of times a year, and I might eventually make it a mod platform, but I'll never sell. Means too much sentimentally. My other basses, those are more utilitarian choices. I might sell one in the future, just depends what I want/need at the time and if that bass is doing anything for me. Of course, right now, 2 of my 3 basses are the same bass in a 5 and 6 string setup, so I could get rid of one and not really miss it. I don't do weird tunings or anything to need 2 identical basses. Anyway, I feel like I'm ranting. Done.Eye, ask yourself, is this bass special to me? My first bass is. I'll never get rid of it.
If you do sell and don't NEED the money, treat your loved ones. Go out of town and do something fun. Orlando? Cruise? Memories with family are more valuable anyways!
