Neato Speedo Just over heard my bosses saying I've nearly doubled the size of their contact base since I arrived in feb.
I'll have to remember that factoid if I need to remind them later of my heroic exploits and why I should transition from intern to employee.

I have an on-again/off-again relationship with that pedal. This'll be my third one, but now I have a tone from my EHX BMS that I need on my board for an MDT tune and this should be way easier than horsing around with the EHX (an old, big box version). I'm willing to sacrifice a little tone here for convenience.
Didn't realize that it was an internship - don't get too comfortable, they may not follow through with a job offer. Your time and skills are worth money and you should be getting paid for that. Every hour you spend working there is an hour you could have been paid somewhere else. I'd keep looking for other jobs and keep your options open. If they catch wind of you interviewing elsewhere it might light a fire under them to start paying you what you're worth. I wouldn't barge into anyone's office and demand to hired or else you walk, but if there's a subtle, conversational way to bring that up it would probably be a good thing. I get the idea of the internship, and not all companies abuse the idea, but many just see it as a way to get free labor. From what you've said it sounds like they're all making some good money with this business, seems like they could afford to pay you something. Don't let them string you along for too long.
Oh, I'm paid $15 an hour at this internship but I know what you mean. I'll probably look elsewgere come may/June to see what's up. They never gave me an end date though and most internships have them so I havent asked.
If they weren't paying me I wouldn't be working here.

Yea 3 days a week, pays all the bills, but not much saving. I still got the flippity business though as well.
I might mess around with making a video of sorts. I'd like to match existing video to a Still Valley song. Any freeware out there worth a damn?
I need something to go on YouTube with, pick what scenes I want, edit, and put music on top. Thanks fellas! We might also end up recording raw, live footage to match up.

$15/hr seems like solid pay for an internship. I was happy with $10/hr as an intern in 2006.

Finally about to start putting together a pedalboard. One half for electric and one half for upright. Got a few things recently, but happiest so far with the Brimstone XD-1 and Fairfield Barbershop on electric. Not sure the Mesa Flux arrive or Big Ear Frank with make the cut or not. Thinking of the Source Audio reverb and some other weird crap...revisiting the Aggie TH DI, but I'm still on the fence
Its been a few days since I lasted posted. Had to backtrack and catch up through like 15 ****ing pages. I have been super busy at work lately. Baseball season is upon us and being from STL, its nutty. I have some products I make for the Busch Stadium and they need a whole bunch of it. I'd like to say that is why I have been so busy, but that will only account for like 15% of my total production. Must be doing something right though... they gave me two more employees and 4 new products to make. I'll take it. Also got the line work done on a half sleeve last week. Another week and I'll *hopefully* be getting it finished, though it may need a third session. We will see how much pain I can take that day.
A couple weeks ago I found my old BAII bridge at my parents house and discovered that it was a perfect drop in fit on my Peavey fury. Only uses three of the holes, but that is enough really. Also it is large enough to cover the strange forward screw holes from the original bridge. I slapped it on there and am super stoked to have that bass operational again. The GZR rips! G&L has been formally relegated to my at home standard tuned bass. I don't know what it is, but that GZR just hits the P tone for me so well. Also seems to kill the MFDs in output, which seems strange to me. All the Fury needs is a new PG. It is an '88 and should have a PG with a back edge parallel with the bridge. Some doof put the much cheaper looking 90s model PG on it (S shaped back edge). Not really into the idea of spending 40 bones on a PG for a $100 bass, but the ill fitting and cheap looking guard it currently wears, ****s with my OCD. So the question is, matte black 1-ply or B/W/B? The bass is black with a maple board.
In all honesty, between the Fury and my T-40 I am not really interested in any other basses at the moment. Except maybe a Ric. There is just so much quality and value in those old MIA peaveys... it's kind of nutty that they aren't ALL in the same level of demand that the t40 commands. There is a rare blue/RW Fury available on local CL that I want so bad, but can't really justify two furies at the moment, and the guy is asking about $100
more than I would give him. Maybe one day.
**** me, did you ever get ahold of him? STL and local regional CL (not really into driving to CHI unless it was a spectacular find) are pretty weak in the bass realm.
He needs to sugar that daiquiri rim. Guy sounds like a perfect pedestal for you. I will never understand people that don't take every opportunity to build relationships with the higher ups.

I wanted to try a Barbershop for years and was sadly not into it when I finally got one. It was way too flubby/farty sounding to me, the wrong kind of "pushed tube" tone for my taste. My EBS Multidrive fits that tone perfect for me, a little tighter and more focused/sharp, and I don't even use it that much. I'm curious about that Frank pedal though, just because I keep seeing that brand around and haven't heard any of their pedals yet.
What you need is a carbon fiber pick guard.

I traded the peavey alphabass head for it. I previously had seen one locally for $200. I think anything under $300 is a good deal.
