No better or smaller than your Bassic.

The better parts not a worry, I know it won't do bass nearly as well or the same. Size wise, it needs to be 20 wide. Also, no porting so that removes 7" of space.

Give or take for sound. Then it would fit better in the living room. An idea I just had would be turning the 50 watt head into a flip top to fit and flip out from the cab.

Could it handle standard tuned, short scale bass. Most times I'd have a high pass filter or strangle on and they be pushing guitar amps. Not excessive volume. Mostly this would be for guitar, I just don't to destroy it when. That's not the case.

Smaller the better as long as it can handle the 20" wide 9" deep rockmaster.

It should survive low volume bass use if it is sealed. Probably find a used 212 for cheap used.

Just checked. Nothing good on the used market for a good price. All too big, oh well.

At first I thought this had better fret reach than a tele, but wrong. Still something about that cheapo guitar is intriguing. tele in a non tele.

I had a Lyon strat copy many many many moons ago, it was a pretty nice guitar actually. I have no idea what happened to it

A buddy of mine tried to give his Washburn tele when he was moving a while back. I played for a while, it was actually really nice - the neck was super thin - probably didn't appeal to fender guys very much. I should have just taken it, but dude was going through some sh*t and liquidating a lot of music gear - told him to keep at least one guitar. I hope he did keep it, wasn't really worth much to sell.

Yea it has been. I've never contacted him, but it is interesting. I just don't want a 30" wide head. Overhang would be crazy.

You know what the issues are that make it costly?

Your mind seems made up regarding size, but my 2000s is 30in wide and the overhang isn't that bad.

Please let me know how I can help...All my cabs have been good for more shows than most people ever play and I would never skimp on anyone else's...bass cabs have stuff that comes loose no matter what, but I have no issues other than routine stuff that is similar to any cab I've ever owned

I would like to say that I have found ZERO similar situations after hours of searching online. I think this cab is great, the support from Mark has been great, but I was just a little frustrated that I had been blaming a speaker this whole time and it ended up being just a few screws in the mounting hardware.

The plastic corners are the only thing I would change. Definitely would choose metal next time around. That was an option from the get go, my fault for not choosing them. My other cabs are metal - Based on my rough use shoulda done the same.

My posts were not meant to disparage the Greenboy line, or Mark, I was just feeling a little at my wits end. Sorry if that's how my rants came out.

Looks way cool, lots of mojo, it plays half way decent, hopefully is sounds as cool as it looks. It is gonna need a new bridge, Im thinking something big and brass and total screw replacement job. The medium scale feels nice and not too short. Should be perfect for standard/half step down. I might have found myself a gem...

I have this 215b with a black widow and a legend in it and I am thinking about selling of the speakers and installing better drivers.

No insight on the other issues, but I have a CB158 just sittin around, we can work something out.
