There is a decent scooter scene here. I'd like to get one for summer gas savings. They are so damn cheap to maintain and my drummer is friends with a scooter mechanic.
i bought this one i have for $50 to get to work, but our office location changed to a destination only reachable by motorway and there's no way that i could safely get to 100km. at the moment i'm cycling to public transport to get there with a handy foldable bike i can take on the bus. very modern.
i just want to create some weird little bar hopper like this and go for a blast to band practice. box of beer fits perfectly in that undercarriage..

I am not normally a 5 or 6 string player but *** is this?? I haven't seen one of these before and it looks pretty cool. It seems like P6s were a relatively recent trend but good ole Peavey had that innovation going! Double P at that. If I had need for a 6 string I would hardly touch I would be making some offers.

Sweet bass, i wonder if there's a layaway plan available.
The neck thing was a little off putting. I just had no idea such a bass even existed. If I get any 6 string gas and feel like pulling the trigger, I'll be keeping an eye out for one of them.

Wow. Some cool grain, but looks like 4 pieces of really poorly mismatched wood. That would bug the crap outta me.
Lately have had some T40 GAS, not that I could fulfill it. Never owned a Peavey bass but lots of their amp gear over thevyears and used to own a T60 guitar.
There's a natural T40 on OKC CL for $600. Been up there for months. What's the average going price for these?
I kinda like it, actually. I don't like maple necks much, though.
I like it this way! The T40 isn't exactly an exotic wood masterpiece to begin with. Its a sturdy chunker with a lot of tone. Looks rugged. The Mississippi style.
All this talk of Peavey basses... If one were to purchase a Peavey bass, what are some cheap, decent options? I went to a local place yesterday that had plenty of old Peaveys, and fairly cheap. (Assuming they're good, of course.) They also had an old-school flip top Ampeg B-15 from the 70's. Pretty awesome.
Oh, I get you. Point taken. Maybe it's a touch of OCD with me but I know it would get on my head. If i saw someone else rocking it I would think it was cool as hell.
Haven't played a T40 in many years, but I played an old T45 a few days back and it didn't really grab me. Seemed lifeless. May be new strings would improve things...
Finally got my Echo Puss in for the guitar rig the other day - LOVE it! Sounds great, incredibly versatile as well, and doesn't easily oscillate like many other analog delays do. Also sounds great on my bass if I ever needed a delay. My buddy was playing it and was like, "Yeah, it's good, but it doesn't sound like my Carbon Copy. Close, but not quite as good." I turned one knob slight CCW, and he looked at me slightly annoyed. Pretty much nailed the CC sound. Not exactly, but DANG close, and I prefer the Echo Puss's sound. If I were to compare, the CC is sterile in that it delays exactly what is put in. Which is great, but I like a little warmth, and the EP does it. Great!
