This is a band I loved but just haven't listened to since the end of the 90s. Times of Grace is the last album I heard from them. I should do some catching up. I became a dad in '99 and music was on the back burner for quite a while...

Anyone like the Tribes of Neurot stuff?

I started from Souls at Zero.

Love Tribes of Neurot, the companion CD to the Times of Grace was amazing, played alone or with Times of Grace.
Good stuff to burning trees overall.

Someday I hope to visit your country. I have been close, but never made it to within its borders. Well, its current borders anyway. There was a time, of course, when Poland was much more vast.

I saw them on the Power Windows tour. I was into punk rock pretty heavy at the time and while I liked some Rush I only went to that show because of free tix. Turned out to completely blow me away. First off, the opening act (Gary Moore maybe?) couldn't play, so Rush played an extra 45 minutes. They didn't have to do that, but it was an act of class.

The musicianship was even more than I expected. But they also put on a great show and had groove. They also poked fun at themselves a little. Really changed my opinion of them overall. I'll never forget the image of Geddy Lee simultaneously playing bass with his back to the audience, singing into a headphone mic and playing a synth with his ass.

Beware: Magnum necks are notorious for being prone to warpage due to drastic climate changes. If that one in the shop is a player (no neck or electronics issues) and is in excellent condition, I'd offer no more than $600, and that's pushing it.

Just saw that in a thread, kinda uncool to hear. Still I want to go look at it.

Man I love drive in movies. Fortunately my crappy little podunk town has one that's been in operation for like 60 years.

Sheesh. Oh man...yeah, that could be bad news. On the other hand, the thing is ~35 years old so IF the neck is straight and stable I imagine it'll stay that way...just don't take a superfast train from Denton to The Janitor's place with it in the winter...

There's just something special about it, i didn't grow up going to them so i don't have the nostalgia for it, but i really really enjoy going. Summers are short here so it's nice too spend an evening outside, but still get to see a movie.

This being Wisconsin there's a bar on the property that you can go to before the show or at intermission (it's always two movies - for $9), i rarely partake because of obvious reasons but it's cool that it's there. Otherwise the food is good and there's a Zoltar machine. Two thumb up!
