Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

What's your guys thoughts on the Earthbound Audio Supercollider? Seems like it's out of favor these days, but I've always been curious. Might pick one up on the cheap if I can. I'm thinking it would be a tighter fuzz than my Pharaoh, which I still love, but have no need for at the moment. It's on my guitar board for now. So, Supercollider?
I want one

Hmm. Local CL has a BXR300 115 for $100. I was intrigued by it (not familiar at all with the BXRs.)

Seller is saying the pots got so bad on the preamp section bypassed it with an external preamp into the main power and claims it worked great.

This is one of those instances I was talking about last week. Pots are likely so full of beer and dust that they quit passing signal. Deoxit will probably fix it up in about 5 minutes.

You are going to get ripped doing that job. My dad and uncle both worked in this field. Best shape the of their lives.

Cool Ill be able to henge the top cab by myself in no time then. Ive done it before but its an iffy manuveor to do by myself. Cant wait to just toss it up there with one hand and a beer in the other.

I love peoples reactions towards PVYHenge. Especially when I have to walk through it to get to the back side of it. Theyre amazed even if they arent gear heads. Physically making a henge with the cabs is doing exactly what I want it to do. The concept of PVYHenge is that its not just a pile of amps and speakers, its a third member of GH. I want people think of PVYHenge to GH as Green amps to Sleep. The visual aspect is as important as the tone.

The last two shows we played, our setup was inspired by the henge.

A few glamour shots of the Peavey Fury I scored on behalf of @TurkeypillSLEEP last week.

Bass had been obtained with pickguard + electronics not installed (last minute pickup swap before sale). I had time to put her together last night, here she is.

She's a beaut Clark! I miss having a P bass and have a Dimarzio p pup in the parts drawer. I should keep my eyes out for a Fury and slap the Dimarzio in it.

Last time I saw torche they killed it. Was a great show. They opened for clutch

Yeah I'm looking forward to it, missed them a couple of times and I've been regretting it. This show is right down the road from my house so it's definitely convenient. Introduced my old drummer to the band and he's been geeking out over it so he's pretty pumped to see them. Should be a good one!
