Daaaanng. Nice! Challenger? Can't quite tell for sure. Not well versed in Dodge. That's not the crazy 6.2 or whatever is it?
Also I threw one of my K140s in my beta115 cab. It sounds great, like really great, but I can't help but feel like the cab isn't suited as well for that driver. Not sure if it's to small or needs some damping or something. I will say the the V4B does not sound wonderful through it. The beta sounds excellent though.
So Trump was in town the other night for some big ass rally. And I thought that it would be a good time to go down there and let the the people know that their was another candidate(s) that they should consider when placing their vote......one that is a true voice for the people and change.

Overall it was a blast. I was there to have fun and make an ass out of myself and accomplished both. A bunch of the Trump supporters were yelling at the protesters and the police presence was nuts. A few of them were giving the drummer and I poopie for standing where we weren't supposed to be standing (we weren't in the "Free Speech area") A few cops asked what our signs meant and when we told them that it was our band they were really cool. We tried to get a picture of them holding them but they wouldn't do it.
A few of the protesters asked what the signs meant and when we told them we got a bunch of rolled eyes. Ha ha.

I drive a 6cyl charger. It sucks a whole lot for just about every utility need I have, but it's a great car. I like it a lot and am thankful to drive a sweet ride, but I'd probably love it a lot more if it had any utility value to me.
I miss my 2500 dodge long bed. That thing could haul the entire three peice band including PA. The 318/5.2L was not such a pig as the 360.
Heads look fantastic. Really good discussion with the machinist. I hear what you mean about only car. I've been borrowing a Tacoma for over a year. Really want a spare puckup after all of this is over. Been eyeballing vans too. Something old so no smog trip and I can put whatever motor and mods on it. Will probably keep the XT near stock, just add some improvements. It's so nice to have the ability to tune the ECU to keep it running it's best and find issues with logging.
Well I have all I need done and Costco Pumpkin pie and green beans are ready to head over to Grandmas house in the morning. Found the 1.75L of Crown Royal with two glasses that I couldn't pass on for 35 bucks.
Just enough time for a nap and practice later tonight.

There was an all white custom 69 VR that hit the bay a few months back from a local ex Ampeg artist relations guy. I was willing to go up to $1300 as a max impulse bid. Unfortunately I waited to long and the amp sold for ~$1400 leaving me with my pants down with a bid of $1100. They were apparently made for a Stones tour backli e and were extras. Most of the cabs and amps were apparently bought by QOTSA.
Saw those. Neat custom colour. Was a good price for what it was.
Watched the Eagles of death metal rig run down. Was recorded like the week or so before going to Europe. Kinda weird.
Jesse is super humble, but his rig is a mix of super crazy expensive One of a kind gear and pawn shop garbage. I guess if you want to sound like him the moral is just be a badass and play guitar.

Fell down a rabbit hole, need to find the link. Basically it's a dude who builds "exacting" replicas of gear, down to the paint on the front plate of an amp (because it all matters). He then explains how much detail and time and science go into the builds. Which by the way he builds his clones based on what he hears in live recordings not actual amps in front of him? So he has an amp that's exactly 10000% just like Hendrix used live at a festival.
If the thread wasn't very much dead, I'd join the forum just to say "You mean it sounds just like Hendrix! But only to people who weren't actually there...!?"

Hmm, I could be wrong, but I don't think anyone uses twisted/stranded wire for amplifiers anymore. It's been solid wire as long as I've been dabbling in electronics. It's all we used in the electronics classes that I took.
This guy has an ulterior (maybe not even ulterior, direct?) motive, which is bilking ignorant musicians out of their money.
"That's right Mr. Blues Lawyer, I use only kmart brand vintage recycled stranded copper lamp cord for all of my point-to-point connections. Also NO SOLDER because solder attenuates high end. You want people to hear your bitchin' solos right? THEN NO SOLDER. Connections are made with chewing gum pulled from age-appropriate packs of baseball cards."
