It is one of the reasons I was really glad they came out with the Combustion series 4. Body was routed for the bridge humbucker position which is what I loved about the MM's tonally.

I had a Ibanez Roadstar and a Fenandes take on the Musicman style and thought they were way too treble sounding, but I diddled a Musicman a few months back and found it more middy than treble, I can see the love for them now.
Friend of mine has had a EBMM ray for many years, says he'll never get rid of it and nothing will ever replace it as his daily-driver bass. Pretty solid endorsement.
How similar do ATKs sound to Musicmans?
That does not please my eye.
The upper horn looks fine, it's the deformed lower horn that throws the whole thing off.
