I think it'll be better than the mag300 or any peavey at that level.
Don't neccesarily do this, but I read this. They are nigh indestructible, but can suffer from cold solders. I read to make it invincible drop it from like 1-2 feet flat on a hard surface. Then touch up any solders. I kinda did that, maybe less drop, more thorough inspection.
That head also was my worst Craigslist experience ever. Sold it to a man who bvtched at me before he even showed up about his time being valuable. Then he showed up and proceeded to play it for 20 minutes while bragging about his son and talking down at me any chance he could. Paid finally and left. Then I wake up the next morning to see all night he's left me threatening voicemails claiming I sold him a broken head, that I owe him restitutions for ruining a gig in the hundreds of dollars, and he has my address and will "get me". After around 5 voicemails #6 starts to shift in tone as he basically admits he's just a broke ashole who spent his wife's money on an amp.
I called him, said I'd take the amp back. Get to a gas station and he still claims its toast. I inspect it hand him the money and called him some stuff even the devil would cringe at and left.
Got home and it worked flawlessly. So I texted him about his lie in a black hearted way, and he called back to spew more threats and I reminded him that his threats on voicemail about hunting me down would be shared with the cops... *click*
Sold a week later for $75 more so whew, funk that guy.
