Thanks Max! All the 12" speakers are stock guitar speakers. Unbranded ones in the vertical Sovtek cab, I'm led to believe they are actually Eminence, whichever model is their Greenback clone. The Marshall has it's original Celestion G12-65 speakers. Yes, I am ignoring any conventional wisdom that says I'll damage guitar speakers by playing bass through them. I haven't had problems. My feeling is that the cascaded-gain basic Marshally preamp design trims the dangerous bass, so the remaining signal is pretty benign.

Yeah Im of that opinion aswell. Youll start blowing guitar speakers when you dime the bass into them. Otherwise how else will you get that sweet sweet speaker break up?

Slowly assembling an army of 90's DODs. Can't seem to do the 250 for whatever reason, though I've tried. So far, I love all the 90's ones on guitar! Seems I'm much pickier tone-wise on bass. My guitar can be NASTY, and I love it. Still can't get into extreme fuzz, but low gain fuzz is good. Any old DODs to look out for?
I like the budget-friendly part, and in general seem to prefer these over most boutique ODs I've heard.

My first ever pedal was an 80s red super distortion that i got when I was 15. Still have it, still works. Used it for guitar, I thought was kind of flat and boring back then. It never worked for bass. I dug it out of storage recently, deoxit-ed the pots and it sounds shaging killer with my tube amps (on guitar). They're everywhere and are super cheap. They were manufactured for a long time and i don't know if the 90s supra versions were any different than the one that I had, but they're probably pretty similar. I love cheap dirt pedals.
The 810TX had some scratchy sounds going on, figured out it was 2 blown speakers, fortunately I have a couple sets of 10s laying around. Threw the pair of Scorpion 10s from my old 1820 in there, actually worked out for the better! They have way more bite than the stock 10s PVY used, the stock 10s throw more sub lows, they blend together quite nicely. Also, it looks pretty cool with the silver metal baskets shining through the grill cloth.
Werther's are good, that was the only true statement all day from me so far. More truth now!
crazy girl I mentioned. Not as crazy as I thought. But she still occasionally throws up red flags. That said I probably do too, and I still haven't unveiled my life to her hardly at all. We just learned eachothers full names last night.
At the same time, I met and saw someone else today, an opera singer who raised no flags. She's very cute and great chatter, but might move out of state post graduation and is Christian. She didn't seem to mind I wasn't and didn't say no to a second date, but how long do I tag team, also knowing one won't last.
Not an *******, but girl 1 also has never explicitly set any terms. She just keeps fugging me and saying I have a great ass. Also that she's interested in ladies too, so worst case I just say surprise I was doing tree some research?
