Vday, made my own paneer cheese in a spicy saag. Chicken Jalfrezi. Homemade naan. And rice with raisins, dates and onion (I use chai tea as the water for the rice).
I had one.
With how much they're going for now, and how rare the left-handed ones must be (I've never seen or heard of one), you may as well just save up the extra to get a real 4001/4003.
Holy sheet.... Open for business on Valentines mean no weekend for me. Had a stupid busy weekend though. Cant remember feeding so many people in a three day stretch.
I know that Ibanez made lefties. I've seen one or two more on eBay, probably from Matsumoku as the brands were bogus. The one I'm eyeing is pretty affordable, around 800$, but flipping it to lefty is not the best idea, I guess.

What kind of pickups do you guys use? I recently got Peavey Milestone II P-bass and thinking about replacing the pickups. In terms of doing doom stuff, I got my Spector to do it, but I'm using Peavey to play Steve Harris and Cliff Burton stuff. So, I'm assuming that I have to go for hella mid. First, I was thinking about buying EMG-GZR but my friends are saying that passive EMGs are absolute craps, and recommended me Lace Man O'War pickups. However, since there isn't any good demo video of that pickup in the YouTube, I don't know whether I should get Seymour Duncan Steve Harris signature, Quarter Pounder, or Lace. I would like to hear your opinions.
i like lower output pickups. i find tne tone of the bass really shines through and i get more headroom in my pedals and amps. for p bass pickups i like the underwound lindy fralins.
I've heard nothing but very good things about the GZRs, that being said I just use the stock double humbucker that's in my ATK, in the neck position.
I think the bridge pickup in my Rickenbacker is about 11-12k. Not sure how high that is in comparison to other pickups.

MY P bass has a Fralin 5% overwound. Nice, thick sounding pickup, but I doubt I'd get one again
My 4001 has a newer Rickenbacker hi-gain pickup in the bridge position, toaster in neck position.
My Peavey I modded with a Rickenbacker hi-gain pickup, it's slightly overwound I think.
The T-bird I just bought has the stock pickups. I think. Unless Corey ever changed them out, which I don't think he did. Having it re-wired series/parallel.
still waiting for the LB100 neck news, saw a dark sunburst 90s stingray at the repair place for 850, never played one before, daaaaamn that thing was well constructed and easy to play, I can see why some folks swear by them
Wait so did you install bridge or neck pickup? And is your Peavey P-bass like mine? If so, how did you install the pickup?
