Here's my settings. Later on in the night I did engage the high-cut (less setting) after we listened to a track and I heard a bit too much clank.

pretty close to mine, actually. I think you have slightly more boost, and more volume, but I'll try those settings too. Should be good.

Yeah, the S models without binding are the way to go.

And also yes, the 2000s is a very loud and efficient cab design. I don't know how Conrad did it all those years ago, but his dream is still one of the best cabs out there I think. I used the 2000s rig last night for a cover band show in a bar, I don't think I ever took the volume above 4, and it was definitely loud enough (we actually ended up turning down a bit, the room can be very boomy).

Designed to squeeze as much volume out of the head as possible, I guess.

Of course, it's also a colossal cab. But whatever.

P-Bass -> Pedals -> SVT-VR -> 810E is what I've been rocking for so long. I'm always tempted to try other amps/cabs, but I just love the setup.

The things I want to try next are a custom 6x12, a Science head, a Verellen head, and a decent rack setup. Not all at the same time, unless I come into a big chunk of cash.

If he sees what I see, the pick guard just looks like it was cut too wide along the lower edge. It looks a little off. But being a southpaw in Poland, I wouldn't think twice about it.

My band is on hiatus, and even when active I have the guitar player's Matamp or Sunn 200s at my disposal. Why am I even looking at this?
