I still have my Darkglass B7 Ultra, but it’s got a pretty specific use anymore. It doesn’t really factor in to my normal setup. A muff style fuzz would be pretty awesome I think, but I’d be more open to suggestion than set on any one fuzz.

With my GK setup, I have liked the Superfuzz [with a Boss LS-2 to give a clean blend], and have used muffs too. Not super excitied about RAT type pedals with the GK. Also since the GK can do fairly mean on its own, a good overdrive sounds great. Yes, that means I am plugging the Way Huge Pork Loin again. Still my favorite pedal.

I just ordered one yesterday! Along with the Behringer Noise Reducer, I figured, for 24 bucks, anything's worth a try at least.
I'll be interested to hear what you think of the HM300!

Regarding social media, I don't really participate simply because I don't feel my life is really interesting enough to type stuff out, lol. I sometimes read funny Twitter streams, or will rareley check my FB page.

As for the who does what with whom, I say let your freak flag fly. I'll not judge. I may ask for details, but only for research.

Russian Circles are a top-5 band for me and last night's performance in Denver was the best I've seen from them. When I left, I realized I have a problem... every time I go to a show, I leave GASsing for something. Currently, it's a smoke machine and aluminum neck guitar. On the heels of the Boris show last week, it's a double neck with aluminum necks... and a smoke machine. Does anyone have an aluminum neck guitar or bass? Thoughts? @oZZma, I saw you all over the aluminum neck thread.

An AL neck kramer came through the Santa Clara Guitar Center here a couple of years ago and I wish I bought it. It was weird, unique and sounded killer.

I have two basses, a Kramer Stagemaster and a Peavey T-40 with an EGC neck. They sound quite different from each other, they both have an incredibly long sustain and sound quite aggressive but the Kramer is more bassy and punchy on the lows, the Peavey is a lot more clangy and guitar-like, really, really metallic and trebley.
Forget about palm mutes and chugga-chugga stuff because these instruments are so resonating you can't even breath near to them :roflmao: No good for that kind of stuff, great if you want a HUGE and rich sound, I tried some O))) stuff with the Kramer and a Cloven Hoof and it went on droning forever without even touching it :roflmao:
With the band I play some noisy stuff and they are very fitting. :thumbsup: And great for atmospheric stuff too (post metal etc)

Kramers are quite easy to find and have a reasonable price, especially in the USA, they sound really deep and piano-like and rich in harmonics! With a strong, definite punch
I'd add that I had never a problem with tuning stability. The EGC neck on the other hand, is less stable, but I'm not sure it's the aluminum, I think it's more probably the looser tuning keys.
