How about the “freak out” aka oscillation mode it mentions? I tried an Aqua Pussyfooted years ago and found it didn’t hat very easily, which was a negative. And if you have any experience with a Carbon Copy, a comparison would be great. The CC is my 2nd favorite analog delay after the Echo Puss, and it seems that the Aqua and Carbon are closely matched.

They are close. The CC has about 500ms of delay where the AP has a little over 300. Not enough to really matter, but still. I think the AP is a little darker on the repeats too. The AP oscillates really easily and sounds good. I rarely use it as that though. I might try that more though. Interesting.

Been thinking of adding another Throat Locust to my collection - 1 for bass, 1 for guitar. The only one I can find is on Reverb, so I “watched” it. The seller seems to put it up for sale, then remove it a few hours to days later, then re-list again it for the same price a few days later. What’s with that? I literally saw it come up again about 9 this morning, then got home 12:30ish and it was already gone. Sketchy, or is there something about Reverb I don’t get?

The only thing I can think of is that he wants it to be the newest listing. Not sure why that would matter; especially if it’s the same price. Sounds odd to me too though.

My guess is that they’re going back and forth on whether to sell it. It’s a tough pedal to find and supposedly pretty great, so second thoughts would make sense.

I found what seemed like a pretty good deal. A little more than $1,600 shipped for a near-pristine NG2 five-string (it's got a very faint scratch on one of the pickup covers...doesn't seem to affect anything and I had to squint to find it). After setting it up last night I was sitting there trying to find something wrong with it, and came up with nothing. The seller did a great job of packing it, and if anything he undersold how nice condition it's in.

While I'm derailing the thread off topic, I have to mention this because of the prominent bass:

It's not in there, but it's so useful!
I can definitely verify its 1.5 (38.1mm).

I plan on doing a review/walkthrough of the features of this bass on YouTube at some point as well.
