It is pretty damn mean. Definitely in the ballpark of a superfuzz/hyperfuzz. 2 band eq, clean blend, octave on/off. The octave is a bit squirelly in a good way and also acts as a nice boost. Got to give it a short go at the space this afternoon. Can't wait to play at band volume Thursday. Drummer was there today getting his new Ludwigs set up.

In other news, I picked up an eden 210 cab and got the speaker swapped in my 115 cab. It all sounds fsking fantastic and feels like getting punched in the chest.

Nice, I have one of the Full size Hail Cannabis (420 special edition) pedals as well as a Massif. I like the Hail, but I'm not a fan of the Massif on bass.

Yeah, I don’t see myself using it without some fortification. I’ve always been wary of the one knob pedals, since what you get is what you get. The HS and it together though, are pretty dope.

The Dunlop strings are pretty nice. The Epi seems to like them. Haven't had a minute to dive into the intonation adjustment. But it is playing pretty well even without touching the trussrod yet.

Not sure this bass would do BEAD tuning very well. The Dunlops are the rare 5 string flatwound short scale set. But that extra half step [I play in C std] definitely helps with the tension.

Always was curious to me that Geezer played a plexiglass Dan Armstrong during Masters and Vol4. That bass is SS. Though with 24 frets that may have helped. Where Sabbath first dropped routinely onto C# std I find it odd that Geezer went to ss basses.

I wonder if 32" would work well with those strings? I'll have to pick up a set and give it a go. The tension of my bass feels like tuning to Eb std on a 34".

Crazy how tight his sound is too. I wonder if the lack of sustain helped it? I haven't Eb or drop D in a while, but I remember kinda liking the bending and clack I'd get on my P when I played in C std. I didn't even use different gauges, just 45-110.

DIMENSIONS: 4.72 x 3.72 x 1.97" (120 x 94.5 x 50mm)

I only used this enclosure because I didn't want to fcking de-solder a bunch of wires. Some creative rearranging and it all fit, barely.

Highly recommend. One of, if not the, coolest shows I've ever seen. I expected it to be great but even then I was blown away.

Our drummer and guitarist went, I couldn't make it out.

Playing next Saturday night at Kelly's Bar in Hamtramck with 2 other killer bands...
