Nice. I’ve realized my fondness for savage amounts of gain when goofing around by myself is largely a quest for sustain. It stems from repeated and prolonged exposure to brass and woodwinds from my formative years. Ironically, I have an EUB, albeit a sh!te one, but I’ve taken measures to make it thuddy and hence unbowable. Not that I know how. Time to find a bow? Time to see if my old trombone is still around & what it sounds like into a fuzz?
I've been thinking about getting an ebow for sillyness on the fretless to try to get some new and weird textures...
I figured I might take the easy way out and just put a personal massager to my strings. Half the reason being because it would be such a power move.

I have no idea. Depending on the foto-flame, I may see if it can be pulled off the rest of the way to just be a fake natural flame instead of the blue. I'm really looking forward to it. This is my "every other year" gear purchase. Although, I cant remember exactly when I got my last guitar, so it may be less than 2 years. I'll play it for a while, and maybe, possibly, look at finding a Warmoth G4 short scale body for it.
Just saw a video for the Ibanez super metal. I thought about trying ones years ago and then forgot about it, anyone have experience with one? Is it worth checking out, sounds kinda fun and thrashy.
