I have almost no experience going below C. But yeah floppy isn't bad, is there just not any definition or attack on it? Spongy like?

Well, no, if anything it was too much definition on the high end. Crust plays a screen door spring tuned to (I think) B, and it sounded a lot like that.



But, I get up today and play it, and with a night of wear and them just sitting there under tension, and it's gone. I'm supposing that I just needed to wait for them to deaden some, and I loves the sound now. I need to learn that I just hate any new set of strings for a day or so, and I need to beat on them some before we'll get along.

Yeah, I have a tendency to keep drinking when I'm ill. It doesn't seem to help. Tea sounds advisable.

You guys have made me want to try one of these PD-7 pedals. I love underrated pedals that sound great for not a lot of $. Diamonds in the rough.

However the average selling prices of these on Reverb seem to have gone way up lately. Maybe the secret is out?

I often mix these all together for a lovely ginger-lemon-honey drink. Works great!

And concerning the PD-7, I'm also keeping an eye out on reverb, but in Europe they're quite pricey

I've got my eyes on the PD-7 too, albeit idly. Still not entirely sure how to get the most out of Reverb, but it seems to be the place to go for Dunwich rarities. Otherwise I usually use Swedish second hand sites mostly.

On Reverb there are 2 PD7's in Europe. We might both keep an eye on the same PD7

It seems like the going rate on Reverb, at least in the states, is about $60. I think it's well worth it even at that price.

I hope you love it! There are a decent range of sounds possible with it so hopefully you find something in it that gives you the fizz.

Brew some black tea. Let it steep for 4 minutes. Then add fresh lemon juice (from about 1/4 - 1/3 of a lemon), a teaspoon of honey, some cinnamon (either ground or a stick) and top it off with a shot (or shot and a half of scotch).

Stir it up until there's no honey left on the spoon and then let it sit for 3 or 4 minutes.

Hola stonedoomers, been a while since I rapped yadda blah blah bling blang......splurged on my b-day for a mint '70s neck that somebody used once or twice and stuck it in a closet for ~40 years.....the blue Fenderbird got an upgraaaaayyyyyyddddde.

Been working on a sort of EP by myself which is being slowed down by non-committal collaborators. Ended up finding somebody on fiverr to add some vocals, we'll see how it goes. Stay tuned. Probably going to make a youtube video soon of some fuzz/distortion pedals or maybe a shoot out of 6 or 7 amps....if I can find the time.....
