If it works, that's $50 a speaker, and $50 for the " head". If do it.

That a good version to get?
Model P, if that's what you're talking about. PAF's a guitar humbucker. Nice pickup, but not bright enough for everyday use (at least for me) and a big low mid hump. Sounds great, but if I could only keep one, it'd be the Geezer.Have you played a DiMarzzio PAF? Wonder how they compare.
Don't know much about the Thor amps, but there's one in a shop here in town for more than double that price. Would be a fun, impractical practice amp.
i saw that on Facebook. shoot for $99 if you need a practice amp otherwise i would pass
Need some feedback. A local guy is selling a '70s Gibson Thor 215 combo amp. He has it listed on eBay here:

Any thoughts on this? I may scope it out, even though I just scored that 3620.
And Mountain rules.
Theme from an imaginary western - does anyone even do power ballads anymore? You know who is severely underrated as a bassist? Felix Pappalardi, that's who (I'm on a huge Mountain kick at the moment).
Hope that everything turns out to be normal. I guess that's kinda the best I can say for that particular procedure.Hey all. Liquid diet today, then at 3:00 I start the weapons grade/full-on toxic event laxative for my anal invasion tomorrow. Good times, good times.
In all seriousness, I would have been a lot more cavalier about getting this done, but a buddy of mine got the Big C in the colon a couple of years ago, and now has a bag. So, I'm gonna get this s**t checked out pronto.
I had a heart catheter done last year, so the ticker's good, the lungs have been smoke free for over a decade, so I'm not sweating them, and the cholesterol is medically controlled, so I should be fine there.
All that said, I will now get run over by a bus.
Well, if the cyborg age were upon us, I would actually swap out my whole digestive system.Let me rephrase" I want all MY bits to stay inside, and all of the technological bits to come out.....maybe."
Yeah. I recall some soundclips, and they sounded pretty good.@JimmyM has a set in his P and P/J basses and cant say enough good things about them.
Lol yeah. And his lack of telling us that we're playing too loud even though we're playing something different than he's playing. I wish that attitude were more common on talkbass.JimmyM is a boss. I like his humor and he's always a straight shooter.
"And still has the battery cover."[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

PSA: the pharmaceutical grade/ weapons grade laxative they give you to clean you out before your ride on the silver stallion is no joke. I think I may have shat out most of my innards.

You mean hang out there...My step mom worked in endoscopy for years. That colon blow they give you is serious business. Hang in there.
