Why is that?
I can always add a series/parallel box to run two 4 Ohm cabs at full power. I dont always get full power in to an 8 Ohm cab.
That said, there is really only a few 8 Ohm cabs on the market that interest me.

Doesn't he always squint.
I was attempting to be PC and not say that this morning, thank you for releasing my inner smart arse, so hard to bottle it up lol.
Sweet! Hope this is a good, long lasting situation.
Look at building a budget Gecko from Warmoth? We need some of that damn rain bad.
Looking at 5 strings. Music Man, Spector, Lakland and Warwick. 35" scale would be nice. 1k or under would be cool too. There are a couple of Laklands that look nice. I have a 6 string Ibby. I should just man up and play that more. But it would be nice to have another bass for low tunings. I'm getting tired of tuning all my 4 strings so low. So I am looking for a different tone than the Ibby.
I should make a pile of gear to sell off and look again when I have some more cash.
Not 35" scale.5 string ATK bass sounds like what you need
