I can always add a series/parallel box to run two 4 Ohm cabs at full power. I dont always get full power in to an 8 Ohm cab.
That said, there is really only a few 8 Ohm cabs on the market that interest me.

That said, there is really only a few 8 Ohm cabs on the market that interest me.
No problem. If I can't find the schematics I used I'll draw some up and post those.

Reminds me once my buddy had me drive thru at Burger King after a night of drinking. Being the driver I had to do all the interactions. Anyways the thing at the window was what I assume was a lady trying to Cosplay as Kenny powers from eastbound and down. So we get our vittles and not thinking I just look at it and say " Well thank you sir... (Glare from the thing)... Or madam?" And drove away as fast as possible from that mistake.

At practice last night I got to try out my new circle k .142 set in the full volume/band setting. SO MUCH BETTER than the d'addario .135 set I was using for A#. It seemed like I cut through the mix better had tighter low end. I think I'm converted... Circle k guys, how often do you change string?
Flash flood warning all late last night and through today. Just took my trash out in flip flops and boxers to avoid the freaky cold sheets of rain. I realized I had too many yard waste bags for one household so I was running down the street tossing yard waste bags into other people's garbage collections.

Looking at 5 strings. Music Man, Spector, Lakland and Warwick. 35" scale would be nice. 1k or under would be cool too. There are a couple of Laklands that look nice. I have a 6 string Ibby. I should just man up and play that more. But it would be nice to have another bass for low tunings. I'm getting tired of tuning all my 4 strings so low. So I am looking for a different tone than the Ibby.
I should make a pile of gear to sell off and look again when I have some more cash.

Nor am I. Glad I have the Gecko but the BEAD 4 bangers are getting all the love at the moment.

I love low tuned 4s, but I can't set them up worth a sh*t. Most of them are cheap. So it's hard to justify having a pro set it up.
