The neck on the ATK205 is pretty thin.

I love low tuned 4s, but I can't set them up worth a sh*t. Most of them are cheap. So it's hard to justify having a pro set it up.

My 'Ray is in B with D'Addario chrome flats. Will set it up to what ever tuning you want prior to sale.

I've never played any of the older models so I don't really have much to compare it to, but I'd say that it's only slightly thicker than the neck on my 1980's Warlock, if that helps as a point of reference.

Speaking of super long scale, where is your super bass at?

Narrow = nut
For me any way.
There was a guy in a local band that had a super scale bass back in the early 90s. He built it himself. Might be normal but the bass is huge! Sounds good though.

Even though it isn't a bass, since you guys are talking about scale lengths and whatnot, check out this guitar the guy from Glass Cloud plays. I saw them last night and I really dug them. I didn't think I would be into them because their older stuff had a kind of screamo thing going on but that is largely gone. This guy's guitar playing is killer and his lowest string is a 92 and tuned the same as an A on bass. They don't have a bass player anymore so for all intents and purposes he is playing guitar and bass. Also, their newest EP from last year is killer.

Yeah, all those "djent" guys tune pretty low. But that is an awkward tuning haha.
