Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

My dad I believe shows triple A or calls our State Farm insurance to help get a discount when renting I forget how he does that.

He just bought a brand new Prius though so he's digging driving everywhere never stopping to fill up.
Man my last trip back to PA was a nightmare, my Tracker broke a belt and overheated four hours from home. So not wanting to run any of our older vehicles plus they get crap mileage compared to modern technology LOL.

We usually rent if we're going more than 4-5 hours. If something breaks, call the place and they'll send out another car. Worth it for the piece of mind and less mileage on your vehicle.

Watching a Jimi Hendrix doc. Just got to thinking are their any documentaries where they just hate on the guy the while time rather than glorify them?

I love the Beatles, but I'd get a kick out of seeing a doc of just hate and dirty laundry kinda thing.
Hatumemtaries, that would be fun. I just watched that Hendrix Doc on Netflix. Once you burn through horror flicks on Netflix you have to hit the documentaries up till new stuff pops up LOL.

Yeah peace of mind. I was going back to visit family in PA. I had a girlfriend, a 6 year old, and like two dogs, a hedgehog, and a bird in the car LOL. What a fiasco. No child or pets this time and a fresh vehicle, a real vacation finally.

Maybe the Hawkwind documentary. I think it's on youtube. That had some bitter past members. And it's more history with interviews than it is rock stars sucking their d8cks the whole time. I mean there is a little of it, no documentary is complete without it.

I watched the documentary on Mick Foley this weekend. Pretty awesome.
Also the Stone Cold one. I used to love wrestling. I like to start watching again, but I can't do WWE. Last time I watched it was called WWF. I'll have to find some bloody extreme sh*t. Probably be easier to buy old ECW tapes haha.

A while back, a buddy of mine made me a copy of the entire ECW television and PPV run. It fills a massive binder with DVDs. Every now and then I'll toss one in for nostalgia's sake. I gave up regularly watching pro wrestling about six or seven years ago, but I do catch the occasional PPV at a buddy's place.

I think I saw that one. They focused for a quite a bit on the body paint dancing tramp right?

Hawkwind isn't really my thing though. But I don't really have to like the band to enjoy the doc. I loved watching Lemmy.

Stacia, yeah a few minutes maybe.
You liked Lemmy though? Interesting. That's an hr and a half of people taking turns jerking him off. :p
VH1 behind the music needs to come back. You could watch a bunch of those! Dirty laundry and drug addiction. "They were on top of the world. But eventually it would all come crashing down."

Nice! I think that's what I need. haha.
I might try Raw tonight. Is that still on? See how bad it is.

I'm not a big fan of the newer programming, but they have a lot of talented younger guys. It's just that "family friendly" programming doesn't cut it for me, I was too ingrained with the blood, barbwire and steel chairs era.

Grew up on wrestling. Watched hulk hogan body slam Andre live. Spending summers and holidays in New York I was blessed to go to some ECW shows. I wanna find a Joey styles omg ring tone so bad! Did wrestling school and got liscenced. I was ate up with wrestling. I can't watch wwe now. Its terrible. Plots and characters are weak. The wrestling is sloppy and lazy. Every now and again its fun to catch some good wrestling on telemundo.
