Yeah, it's a pretty modern sounding bass, but with some small adjustments, I think I can get it set to where it will do tones for heavier stuff. Primarily, I was looking at the weight and the playability/feel of the bass.Tobias aka the "Fünke Bass".

.22 pistols are great. Get yourself a nice Ruger with a 6" bull barrel and drive nails all day.
Mofo, you have just blown my mind, that is exactly the pistol I own. My Dad (RIP) got if for me. I can make used shotgun shells skip up in the air with it.

Eh show from us last night...everyone else fvcking rocked. Don't really want to get into it. Decent turn out. We back lined and all the bassists ended up using my cab/s. Mostly just the 218+210. Sounded gnarly as hell with everything. One guy was using a sunn coliseum with an OG green muff and he also used my evm 215, another was a sunn sonaro with an oxfuzz, and the last was a V4B with a DS1.
Holy shvt once we were playing my feet went numb from my rig vibrating the floor everything sounded good though.
Was a fun night chilling with some good dudes.
This is Serpent Lung. He was the one using both my cabs and had that dank muff. Best picture I got of the back line though cause my phone died shortly after.
And speaking of Serpent Lung, Galactica Hatchet will be doing a split together when we're both ready too.

shag yeah, basement with workbench.At the new place giving the washer and dryer a test run. Snapped a pic of my new old work bench. I love basements, going to be spending a lot of time here, i think.
Now you just need to put in nails/hangers for all your various tools (and draw the outlines to remember exactly where they go and stuff), and it'll be so cool.
Doing more than that in any one town is kinda... I dunno, feels like oversaturating a particular area. We try to rotate around which parts of the bay area we're playing.
I don't follow? Why would you not be able to have a basement in a hot area?
See, 70s is pretty warm to me. I don't like it being much warmer than that unless I'm in the Sierras, where it's so dry that 90 feels like about 75 on the coast.

There's already shitloads of nails and hooks everywhere - all over the damn house. Electrical outlets too, a ridiculous amount of them. Definite old man vibe in there, it's great.
Plentiful electrical outlets is so nice to have. I grew up in a house that didn't have enough outlets in any room except for in the kitchen, which had been remodeled, and it was a pain in the ass.
