Ford was smart to let the guy who was designing Aston Martins do a number of their cars as well.
That would certainly explain it. I've seen some nice looking newer Fords. May not be my favorite manufacturer, but I appreciate nice aesthetics when I see them.
I think this damn hellacocksucker sold the 8x10 and won't reply to my emails anymore, it's been two days and he took the post down, oh we'll what you do? Either way i have a undying gas for second cabinet, might have to go 4x15's. Found this might pick it up, I think might have someone how could sell me a second empty one but the sunn version. But for now ill pair it with the bassman 1200, and run peavey Vulcan through the peavey 2x15.

There are six of us. There are three guitar rigs, a bass rig, a bigass keyboard, and the goddamn drums. Honestly, the drums are actually the hardest bit, because they take up more space than they look like they should, even though our drummer has a small kit.
My favorite Sabbath studio album. Every song is great. Plus the overall sound is good, and the bass tone is amazingly nasty.
What are those super ferrite pickups like, anyway?
Is that weird? My parents didn't have "his car" and "her car." They largely shared one car. There was also the truck, but that wasn't used as often, generally only when a truck was needed, as we were a family of four and it only fit three.
They sound like a bit of a mashup of Electric Wizard, Om/Sleep, and Ufomammut to me. Not bad at all. Actually sounds a bit like some of the 5th Child stuff. Gods, I need to actually work on getting that band going.
I guess with the more retro stuff is that I'm just tired of anything that's very blatantly bluesy. To me, Sleep already did that about as well as I'm going to like it.
Ugh. I honestly don't really want to live any place where I'd actually need a car if I weren't a musician. Place might be perfectly nice, but if I actually have to hop in the car to get anywhere, that's a dealkiller for me.You never had a car prior to getting married? I guess Canada did have better public transportation.
Texas or probably the whole US save a few metropolitan areas like NYC are soooo not public transportation friendly or even great about having sidewalks everywhere. Not having a car in the places I have lived would have been nearly impossible.

Rented a Camaro. Not a fan. Mustang was a hoot, no cargo for gear...
Bought the Outback XT for a family outing car. With three kids it was a stretch for cargo and dog. But now that two kids are out and on the divorce phase of my life I'm happy to still have it.
I consider the legacy wagons a great value and pretty easy to maintain.
Now the only thing I can bitch about subaru is motor design. The dreaded head gasket failure is not something to sneeze at. I have 160K on the car and now need to pull the motor. Prepping to do this now.
Luckily they are not overly complex and I have a loaner from family to drive in the mean time. I will be pulling motor and breaking it down for a complete refresh.
Sad part is people that are not inclined or setup to work on their own cars have to eat it with mechanics. The only outsourcing I will be doing on this rebuild will be a machine shop for the heads and block (if needed on the block).

A little late on the Ford Ranger thing. But my first truck was a 1981 Ford Ranger F-150. It was a full size F-150. 302 V8, you fox body fruits call that a 5.0
I beat the hell out of that thing. Ran over a mailbox on accident. Drag raced it. It was slow, ran 18s in the 1/4 mile. First time I ever bracket raced it at Norwalk High School nationals I made the quarter finals. Cut a garbage light and ran slow. Took it off road all the time, got stuck once (when I moved back to Ohio) haha. The turning radius on it was crazy awesome.
I called it the Dorf. It was a great truck.

We cut it when the new guitar player came on. We also cut Black Forest, Dark Ritual, and Final March. But the songs the we have written since, are epic. Working on something really killer right now.Where... Where's Dry Sea?

I drive a station wagon. Space for daaayyyssss! I recently removed the cage from the back so now I can drop the backseats and load my drummer's gear at the same time. Total time-saver.
The only downside is fuel consumption. Its a big, heavy V6 and guzzles almost as much as a standard V8 sedan. Wouldn't be able to tell you how many miles to the gallon it does but all I can say is that I dump around $120 a week every time I refuel. By comparison, my first station wagon ran on LPG and I'd fill her up with $20 every week...and it would last me the whole week plus an extra day or two depending on how much driving I did.
