Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

My drummer and I listen to your guys stuff at work the other night, we totally dig that ****!
Thanks man!

It always nice to hear that kind of stuff, especially since I'm so critical of myself. I'm just glad people are actually digging it.

I need to dedicate time to do a stupid bandcamp. Are they pretty easy to customize? I miss the days when I could go on myspace editor and have a sweet custom band page.

I heard MySpace has been making a comeback. Anyone here using it?

I was trying to finish that peas and potato turnover.

Samosas are awesome.

There is this local Mexican cafe in the back of a super markado where they serve home made tortilla chips covered in roasted pork, verde, and melted cheese for like $4. I have to get someone else to go with me because I dont speak any spanish, and cant order for myself.... :crying:

Sounds like "nachos" would get you want. I'd add con puerco y salsa verde to send the message home.

Come on now, I'm thinking Ohio is going to have pierogi, latkes, kielbasa, pastes, you know stuff that makes white people fat.

Sounds good but so plain and starchy.

I like my seasonings and diarrhea inducing spicy sauces and greasiness.

Why did I need a pizza, sushi, carnitas, and a donner delivered at 3am? Stoner? Nope. Just a fat kid who spent too much time pulling all nighters.

What's a donner?

Come to Cleveland, I'll take you to some great Mexican joints.

You don't mean Taco Bell do you?

Samosas are awesome. I like to talk merican a lot.
The one I don't know is the little bread dessert balls. My buddy was looking at it and said what the hell is that. I replied, cold balls.
I haven't had a real deal doner. But there is a place in Austin called Verts. They have them pretty good. There is one on Anderson right next to Dragons Lair comics and games.

If you were a pro, you'd do it the last 15 minutes of the work day.
I still have much to learn. Stomach is playing tricks on me anyway. Nothing is going to happen until I'm on beer 5 or so.

Anybody used tracking on USPS lately? It's been a few years for me.
So my bass shipped on Saturday. Says departed LA and nothing since. The scheduled date of delivery is today...
So do they scan boxes anymore when they are being dispersed to/from different facilities?
I'm not worried... yet. Just curious.

NPD. Im having a bad GAS spout I guess, picked up a echo shifter after I was done with overtime. This is the first delay I've ever really jived with, its pretty dark and clear like the night sky. The oscillation is really cool, I can have a sea of oscillating noise under what I'm playing but it never muddys it up, which can really thicken things up. I'm thinking this will kick the freeze off the board, as it can do what what the freeze does to some extent plus way more...Ron, cough you said you were looking to pick up another freeze right?

Played around with it my home rig, and now i cant wait to try it out at practice tonight especially with the ADA. The BOSS isn't anywhere as good as the ADA, but it does alright for home riffing.

Expect a nice big postabout my ricOsound findings and a new batch of rig pics after practice tonight.

Love the Echo Shifter good choice!

I do, pretty frequently. It's ok for a general ETA, but the tracking is usually worthless. The last few times I had something on the way, it said it left and didn't get any substantial updates until after it arrived. It's not like UPS or FedEx, where they're updating pretty regularly along the way.
