And someone brought a baby to the show... How do you know the baby is protected fully by muffs? Just don't bring it

Did somebody just driveby and stop to give you a Stop Work order?Where's my weekend? I want a refund. Finished "temporary" steps yesterday. I'm beat today. Nothing's in code right now.
As for permit, once what we were replacing became more than what we were keeping, we needed a permit. Even if it's the same dimensions. If we build without permit, we can't sell house until it's up to code. Gah.
I need to jam. No practice last two weeks.
Gotta make 200lbs of baguettes and 200 lbs of pretzel buns. Should be a light night. Hoping to be home dooming at 6 or 7.
Why no babies???!? Get 'em started young.![]()

Ugh, that gives me bad memories of having to make dinner rolls. A single batch was 80 pounds of dough, to be cut, weighed, and rolled. Never got buy with less than two, and generally made three or four.
I work at a local artisan bakery that produces around 20,000 lbs of bread daily. I normally run 500lbs solo. I am actually in training to become a supervisor and am expected to oversee a team that will produce 4-600lbs of product from bag o' flour to packed product per person. My trainer and I made like 4000 lbs of baguettes last week, 1300 in one morning. It was intense.
If you were hand rolling those dinner rolls I can only imagine the forearm endurance you built up. Or maybe they were already in good fitness.
I had never dreamed that I would be a baker, especially when I was sitting in all of those college classrooms. But with a sociology BA and the job market in the ****ter I had to find something. Now I work for a company that I love, produce a product that I can be proud of and gain recognition for my efforts. The job is quickly becoming a career and I am good with it.
I will have to indulge you guys with some bread porn down the line, as I know y'all love to talk about food and cooking.
Is that the Miami Vice pastel preamp. I owned a 1991 Kawasaki KLR650 and the color pattern for that year bike model was jokingly and appropriately referred to as the Miami Vice model LOL.View attachment 478065 View attachment 478067 View attachment 478069
So I cracked open that Geddy Lee and it's mystery preamp has no markings but looks professional. Also no batteries unless they are supposed to be under the pickguard so maybes it's passive? 3 knobs two switches and a like varitone switch thing?
Nope, but we plan on selling in the next year and didn't want to build twice. If the drop between the land and the house was 24" or less, we wouldn't need a permit. If the ground was 24" or less it would cover my basement window well. The best bet was to build something small, that we could use until we sort the legal part. We made it out of all scrap wood, except for some 4x4" that I had for a fence project. My house was built in the 1980's and the previous owners did not really upkeep anything. The solid oak hardwood had to come out, the redwood deck, we just destroyed. Sucks to have all this nice, unusable material.Did somebody just driveby and stop to give you a Stop Work order?
That's pretty crappy of them.
Man good stuff, dig it! Neuro put me on new medicine for migraine aura and not sure if the new meds or the rainy weather got to me or both in conjunction but I vegged the whole weekend and listened to a lot of music and this would of been perfect for that. Head was hurting too much for heavy stuff and after listening to stoner and doom for a few years now I am not digging a lot of stuff I used to love.Sleep slacker rock for your Monday morning:
