So a good buddy just offered me his epi non reverse t bird for $300.

Some pondering must be done. The V is awesome but not quite use able being short scale. The bird has a reverse style headstock so the lowest string has the longest travel, seems like it would be perfect for low tuning.

The V might be for sale soon.

I had a reverse epi t-bird for a while, the bridge was a pain and it had serious neck dive but it sounded awesome. The neck twisted up something awful so I sold it to Pawn America. I hope that I just got a bad one, because it it did sound killer.

I'm not sure what the dimensions of the x2n-b are, but I think that product is discontinued. The x2n-7 covers the spread of a four-string p-bass nicely, with maybe a quarter inch of rail beyond the string on either side.

I was going to put a x2nb in something but don't remember what. Ive heard some awesome clips of it though

Yup, got a night class then another day of work. Homework and yardwork this weekend. Maybe a trip to visit my sister and her new baby if I have time. Too goddamn busy lately.

Any suggestions for a true bypass loop? I'm thinking of grabbing something to reduce the amount of pedal dancing between songs. Right now, I only need 2 channels, but I'd like a master bypass as well. Any experience with these? They seem to be the most affordable. Pros/cons in general?

My wife actually asked me to take her out to show. We haven't had any baby free outings since the little guy was born in July and she's itching to be able to have some grown up time. We're going to see Bloodmoon and some localish bands in Jan Jose tonight. I talk to Peter from Bloodmoon online all the time, so it will be nice to say hi, support his bands and hopefully check out some heavy northern California bands I haven't heard before.

Rearranging my pedalboard again today, and HOLY CRAP! I was just trying to rearrange to find a better/more space saving arrangement to get ready for possibly buying an A/B/Clean loop pedal, but I ended up re-ordering the pedals too. My dirt section is currently this order:
JohnK Gamma OD (Just a touch of grit)
BAT Pharaoh (Solid, stoner metal setting, bassy with some bite)
B3K (Mild Grit)
Blower Box (Voivod?)

Turned them all on for the hell of it and it blew my mind. So heavy, yet still articulate, clear, and punchy. HAVE to try it in the mix next practice. I think I'm in love...

Just volume. If you need to roll off treble, you can always just play with a really long, cheap cable. Or one of those vintagey coiled-up 70's phone cord type cables. Or just plug into way too many true-bypass pedals in series...

I'd go with the pedals. Never have too many pedals!
