having owned both, I much preferred the Grey Stache to the ECT. More versatile, and overall thicker sounding to my ears.
Still hoping for June for the new record, we're just waiting on the art at this point so we can send it to get pressed. If you ordered Heroin through us I'm pretty sure the records have been shipped already. If you ordered through IA, I don't know what's going on. We definitely appreciate when anyone buys a record or cd, but we're not going to rip anyone's head off for downloading something either. Most of the time we're the first one to put the "leak" of a new record out there for people to hear. However, don't get too excited since that won't be happening till the record is actually released.
There aren't that man mono power amps out there, and usually they end up costing more than a stereo amp of better quality/power. Most stereo amps will bridge though, I'm a big fan of my carvin power amps, definitely on the affordable side of the spectrum, and loud.
Thanks! It's only been a few weeks so far, but I'm liking it. I had been living with the wife for two years already before we got hitched, so it's not really all that different from where I was a month ago haha.

My 18s are low watts and will never see more than 250 watts from my Vulcan. But my evms are thr pro versions so 400 watts each. That's a 800watt cab. Hence me wanting a more powerful power amp.
Just be careful. Those drivers can take a pounding, but the ceramic magnets dont shed heat as well as the neos do.
Max, not trying to discourage you at all, just my thoughts; 78 minutes of music is a lot to record. I'm not sure how you guys are planning on recording but if you are looking to add overdubs you may find that 20 hours is not going to be nearly enough depending on how detail oriented you want to be and depending on how well you guys preform in the studio.
My other thought, as the band's first release, that is a long record. Personally I'd look to keep it closer to 40 minutes. You want be able to catch the attention of the listener, keep them interested and then leave them wanting more. Even if you manage to record all 78 minutes, you may want to consider not releasing it all as one album. you can hold off on some of the tracks so that 6-9 months after the release you can release another full length or even just a series of EPs to remind people you are still around. I know it's tempting to want to share all of your hard work but sometimes less is more...again just my thoughts.
