And mine:

Just got my balls busted by the girlfriend's Dad because my trusty folding buck, hunter safety orange mind you that my Dad(RIP) got me back int he day was so dull LOL. Broke down and bought a whetstone, probalby just make it more dull since I got no sharpening skills.
Just got back from having to pick up a script in person and drop it off at the pharmacy, why do normal people have to jump through hopes over junkie losers, argh, why can't we just let survival of the fittest sort things out. Anyway neurologist is trying low dose of ritalin for my migraines, he is doubtful it will stop the painful eye stabbers but thinks it will help with the daily silent migraine aura confusion and dizzyness. So maybe there will be less typos on here in the near future...maybe

Figured out VEGA has 78mins of music we want to fit on our debut. Well have 20ish hours to get all the instrument tracks recorded. Vox will come soon after. I think we can do it.

First practice running the Dunwich, DAT dubby bass. But I now realize I need a bigger power amp. I NEED MORE POWER!!! Looking for a mono power amp on the higher end under 1000watts. I really only see stereo amps, I'd really like a mono though.

Glad your liking that DI unit. Seems I might get some decent orders if I built a SVT sim-DI/preamp unit with built in 8x10 cab sim ect ect

Having worked my way through school cooking, my knives are always sharp enough to shave with. It takes maintenance, but makes the tool more useful.

Arg. I really thought I had my Rockbass sold. Since when is 9 pounds too heavy for a 5 string? Fuuck they don't make these things out of mithral.

9 pounds? that is light for a bass period IMHO.

I know Ron wanted a smaller SS version of the mostly harmless.

That would be interesting. A full version would interest me too though.

So oil or no oil on the sharpening stones? Trying to figure out how to sharpen the girlfriends grooming blades too, the local guy she pays doesn't really do a good job like the old guy used to.

It depends on the stone. I usually use some very light oil, but I have some stones that are so fine that I actually use spit. I also started using very fine sand paper, and regular paper on a wooden block to "strop" some of my knives.
