Squanch, there's a rig you can buy that basically clamps your knife in the perfect position for sharpening, and you just move it over the stones. I forget the name. I like to keep all my knives shaving sharp, so if I use one for a little cutting, I just whick it on the steel from my kitchen set, and it touches it right up.
I use my knife for utilitarian purposes at work and home, but the more time goes by in our work neighborhood the more I'm worried I'll have to use it for deadly self defense. In that case I wouldn't want to have to worry about defending myself with an "illegal weapon". Don't get me wrong, I'm not a psycho, I don't ever want to have to use a knife in a combat type situation. I mostly use mine to cut open boxes.

For sharpening, I just occasionally touch up with this. For $10 you can't beat it, and it gets my knife razor sharp.

I'm pretty unconcerned though about carrying anything. My towns safe and has so much random stuff laying around I'd just rely on my sprinting and grabbing something if I had to defend myself. I feel America isn't setup to defend yourself I feel it's too much potential trouble for me to bother.
Personally I think the laws of carrying are dumb as the only person following those laws is the one who isn't going to cause trouble.

Nah, I just keep the knife in my fist with the corkscrew protruding and let 'em have it.
I've never used a knife in self defense probably never will. I'll never be the first to grab a weapon.

Figured out VEGA has 78mins of music we want to fit on our debut. Well have 20ish hours to get all the instrument tracks recorded. Vox will come soon after. I think we can do it.
First practice running the Dunwich, DAT dubby bass. But I now realize I need a bigger power amp. I NEED MORE POWER!!! Looking for a mono power amp on the higher end under 1000watts. I really only see stereo amps, I'd really like a mono though.
