Speaking of the WF, per the various postings on FB, it appears my WF and VT should be arriving sometime soon. I'm pretty fired up to try them out. I have no idea what's going to win out in the end, though I did dig the tone on Laz' demo recording.
My Canadian ex said the same thing while living with me here.
Like I said I feel the laws restrict the law abiding only. I would not feel the least bit less safe if tomorrow everything was legal and open carry was instituted across the land.

I've never carried a weapon, and don't ever see myself doing so.
I also live in Chicago where more people get murdered/shot that just about anywhere in the US.
It's easier to just be smart and not doing things or go places that'll get you in trouble.

I don't necessarily carry a knife for protection, I carry it because it's useful. Use it all the time for plenty of nerd things. Opening boxes, hitting the reset buttons on hardware, pushing in the tabs on hard to reach ethernet cables that I need to disconnect. It just also doubles as something that will go through someone's skin like butter if I need to defend myself lol.
Knives usually aren't that good for street fights anyways unless you're actually trained on how to use one. But if you're outnumbered by some punk kids, it can be a good way to deter them from ever messing with you.

Recently I actually read the spec of my Behringer amp and cabinet and apparently they're (the cab) only good to 38 Hz. I was playing down to F#, but may now have to raise that to Ab or something nearby. I don't usually pound away at that low end for ever, but leave it for a sonic effect when I slide down. Kind of like Cronos meets Geezer. Anyways, does any one have an idea of whether adding over drive to the signal actually helps carry the (unheard) notes as low as F#? At this point, I can't invest in any more gear, but I do have a multi effects unit (Digitech GNX2) that I'm quite happy with.
Doubt my school would've taken kindly to bringing knives of any kind to school. Of course, I was a HS sophomore during Columbine, so everyone was on ultra-high red alert back then.
For me, it's going to be getting run over by a truck or car while I'm on a run. So many ******** out there it's not even computable.

The other day an old man ran my protected walk and stopped 6" short of me at like 40mph. In my head all I was thinking was leap on the hood now and save yourself!! Right as he stopped so did not have to.
I find some distortion effects really suck out the lows, but that will be unit to unit.
If your happy with your sound now, no reason to change IMHO.
Should you decide to upgrade there are a lot of options that will give you better performance on a budget than your Bear-hinger.

Got a bite on my SG locally already. We'll see if the guy is serious. I offered to do partial trade for cash + Telecaster parts, so I can start a new build. He said he had a bunch of Fender stuff, we'll see if he gets back to me or does the CL flake thing.

Gotcha. We had a really bad shooting at the University of Iowa in 1991 in the astronomy building, so they probably would've been high strung about that, too. Oddly enough, I've gotten through airport security checks with my Swiss on my key chain. I wasn't even trying to prove a point or anything, I'd just forgotten to take it off my ring and leave it at home. I've also lost one that way, too.

Oh man, I don't know whether I'd've been startled as fugg or flipped my poopie on the guy if that happened to me. Worst intersection for me is one near my casa by the local high school. It's a decent, younger-trending neighborhood, so think moms in SUVs and high school kids. A real danger zone for a runner with their head in la-la land. Crosswalks are absolutely meaningless.
Been pretty busy since I posted here last. The TB headcase thing, took off way faster than I expected so I've been building a bunch of'em as well as a few other kinda related odds and ends. Also started on a fearfull 66 build, for Myself.

LowF, You'd be better off adding a second 4x10, as a 1x15 wouldn't be able to handle as much power or move as much air as the 4x10 cab can. Adding a 15" speaker won't make your sound deeper, that's a common misconception. But there are folks in here who can more accurately explain why that is.
We realize 78 mins is a tall order, but were already leaving out more than a few songs for the next album. We've been trying to record for so long we've written a lot of songs we want to include on this album.
Well see how much we actually get recorded how we like it. But a 40 min album to us is 3-4 songs. Which to me is not a full length. And it would be really hard to choose what would make the album and what wouldn't.
