I run a Crest ProLite 3.0 some times. I rarely bridge it. Other times I am running a Carvin B1500 with my '66. Dump either of those in to a pair of low end cabs and you are going to have a pile of ash.


Also, since I love a good pick spam, and I know the rest of you are wondering about my DuallyT and Dingwall...

Those fanned frets!!! I so want to diddle a Dingwall or any fan fretted instrument, kind of hoping Rondo puts out a cheap non shredder fan fretted guitar eventually.

My other thought, as the band's first release, that is a long record. Personally I'd look to keep it closer to 40 minutes. You want be able to catch the attention of the listener, keep them interested and then leave them wanting more. Even if you manage to record all 78 minutes, you may want to consider not releasing it all as one album. you can hold off on some of the tracks so that 6-9 months after the release you can release another full length or even just a series of EPs to remind people you are still around. I know it's tempting to want to share all of your hard work but sometimes less is more...again just my thoughts.

Yeah, it is a very long record. About twice as long as Catapult's debut, though ours is a bit short (single vinyl LP).

I agree with Sam, it would probably be better to cut it down to 40 minutes to an hour and save the other material for a followup.

That's not heavy for any kind of bass. My Ric is two pounds heavier than that, and it's only a four string.

What's in the Mostly Harmless, anyway? If I recall correctly, one channel is Ampeg style EQ, the other one is FMV or something?

Or Satan Worshiping Doom, or the Unreal Never Lived, or Catharsis, or Tempest.

All of those have four tracks or fewer.

Even in terms of total length, above a half hour is an LP if the band considers it one. Master of Reality doesn't break 40 minutes.

shagin beast of a build like 13+ controls, 50+ resistors, 6 ICs.

For the Ampeg side its, Gain, Ultra Low Switch, Bass, Treble, Mid, Mid Select, Volume

For the DA120 side its, Gain, Depth, Bass, Treble, Boost Volume.

Theres a Master Volume for the summed output, ability to run the outputs stereo separate or mono summed (all before the DI output) and then also the DI output which would have Phase Flip Switch.

Maybe you can streamline it. Have the preamp/gain section separate, with a select/blend, then the tone stack and master volume after?

Both amps run the EQ before it would be summed so its sort of a beast no matter wat. Plus Im missing the cab sim in there, would have to go before the DI output. ahh more poopie to try to fit in
