Also aside from using a multi meter, is there a way or a device to check ohm ratings of unmarked or suspect cabs?

I had one of those Fender 400PS' it was meh. Not that loud. Plus it's actually 3 separate power sections at 135 watts or something like that, so you had to hook up 3 loads to get all the power out of it.
Moving it was horrible, worse than an SVT.

We made the recessed lighting at the bar fall out of the ceiling. Made no money. Got vague gig offers from all the bands we played with. Made people stand as far from the stage as possible. Had a good time. Great success!

Well dang. I wanna try my two 4x10 arrays with a tube head but I don't have any clue what they were originally wired for (I assume 4 each), or if the history of owners rewired them.
Also it'd be handy at pawn shops, gigs, jamming on other people's stuff, quick check and know.
One of my Favorite pickguard colors, it's like chili con carne. Of course if that's red pearl I dig it too it's my bass vi after market guard color.
Got one like two month ago, love it already, it can make endless different bass tones

I've never heard a passive bass that can get as many different sounds as a T-40. I love mine
I am thinking my next dingwall build will rival the tonal variations. I think I am going to buy a third pick up, and swap out the 4 way selector for a 6 way, and swap out the pre. Active/passive, with 6 different pick up options.
My EGC is pretty damn versatile for a passive bass
