Winner except for the USB is 16bit not 24bit capable. Next question... Do I need 24bit... Back to the interweb.

Will have to ponder if it's worth the extra $120 for the option. Both are about the same in features. I do like the EQ section option on the Mackie.It's debatable, some people swear 24 bit (or higher, much higher for some) is the only acceptable resolution for digital audio. CDs are 16 bit, for reference. I have mixed a lot of albums in 16 bit and never got a complaint. I do plenty of projects in 24 though. Honestly, I listen to music with a much more critical ear for sound quality than a lot of people do and I've never been picky about it. Maybe I would feel differently if I was listening to classical or soft jazz all the time, instead of this crazy satanic beard metal.
