Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread Part Ten - What is this thread about again?

Let's all start an e-doom project. I can play bass and guitar, but but let's just have as many bass tracks as possible.
Soooo I uploaded this track from college. It was a recording class. The assignment was basically "make something in Logic" so this is what happened haha.

Sound is about flesh eating walruses. I played bass, synth, and did vocals through the vocoder on my microkorg. Friend played the guitar whammy stuff for me. I wasn't that good of a bass player at the time so the timing is pretty off, and I never finished mastering it, but it is simultaneously horrible and entertaining. Make sure you read the lyrics.

If you listen closely, the bass solo is a bastardized version of the one in Kyuss - Green Machine. I couldn't remember exactly how it went when I was in the studio so I just fubbed around with it lol.

Also Brave Ulysses is moving to its new home this week, The Milk Haus bike shop. My drummer knows the guys who own the shop, gonna go meet them on Wednesday and hopefully first practice is Thrusday. Rock 'n Roll and bikes go hand in hand, this should be fun. I actually just finished watching Sons of Anarchy, so it's pretty cool, I kinda get to live it a little bit.
PART 10!!! where have I been? So I moved and got a band together and had a 6 hour doom session yesterday. I asked the Amps forum but ill ask you guys too. so i got a matching sunn 215 to go with my concert head but it needs speakers, what should i get. I was looking at eminence legend cb158's...yay, nay?
Well, I love the original Sunn squarebacks in my Beta 205. Sure they dont the most bass, but they have this crunch that I havent found else where. There's always JBL D140's as well.

Greetings all, I'm new to this thread so go easy on me.
As much as I love doom, I think the closest I'll get to my band playing it is some early Sabbath. My 2 guitarists are more thrashers (no drummer or singer yet). I love thrash, but I still gotta rep some doom.
My cousin has an early 90s Peavey 4x10 that he's willing to give me, still works fine since he bought it right before he stopped playing bass. I figure it's for free, I can do him a favor and take it off his hands haha.
Long story short, doom bass tone in a thrash-ish band? Yay or nay?
PS No fuzz, just a modded BOSS DS-1 for enough gain to rival my guitarists' amps.

I always thought of bands like HoF, Black Cobra, and Black Breath to be doom/thrash. It could work.
those speakers are the jam. i have 8 of them currently, and each one owns haha.
Mcmuench- I have a MIM Pbass with 1/4 pups and I installed a Musicman humbucker. I have a compressor, dirt box, chorus and wah. Plus the Peavey when I get the chance to pick it up. Also I want fuzz and octaver, right as soon as I find a pile of money lying around lol.
