+1 to Kylesa. The two drummers thing is pretty damn sweet.

Saw them last weekend at Dudefest. They played day one and day three. Both sets where awesome as everything else about the fest.

PLEASE do yourself a favor and listen to Weedeater...especially the albums "Sixteen Tons" and "God Luck & Good Speed". This band revolves 100% around Dixie's crushing bass tone. Drums and bass are almost an afterthought.

While you're at it, check out Om (ex-Sleep) and Church Of Misery (from Japan).

I need to give Weedeater further listen, I've only heard a couple tracks, I was digging them but never got anything further. Om is awesome and I'm glad to see mention of Church of Misery. Their bassist is the reason I decided I needed a wah! Heavy stuff.

Yeah, man...I especially like Church Of Misery's early stuff. Something about the original singer that gets me...even despite the half-Japanese/broken English lyrics. Great sh*t! Get ahold of Weedeater's "God Luck & Good Speed". You won't be disappointed!

i'm liking what i'm seeing here. +10000000000000000 on kylesa and baroness, great kids, great bands.

Check out Moss, they're a lot doomier, but one of the dudes from Electric Wizard produced their new album. They're heavy as hell.

Also Irreversible outta georgia. Good heavy stuff mixed with epic riffage.

Hell yes. Orange Goblin are a sick band.
I've never really been too into the stoner stuff, but I do enjoy it. Electric Wizard, Bongzilla, Sleep, etc...

Don't know if they've been mentioned, but Mammatus is one of my favorites right now, and I like Warhorse alot for that super heavy stuff...
