Talkbass but for guitarists?

They are very guitar style orientated:

Les pauls: Invalid Link Removed (or [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] for vintage LP´s)
Telecasters: Invalid Link Removed
Stratocasters: Invalid Link Removed

For different guitars like Gretsch and others I didn´t found any better. But those are my mains sources.

Yes absolutely but one good or bad thing about tb depending on how you look at it is on talkbass it's pretty much a huge melting pot of musicians playing a lot of different styles. Guitar forums are typically more specialized. Like one for metal guitarists(sevenstring.org for example) , one for dad rock, some for people who dig pedals, others for people who like to go straight to amp and so on. It's a much bigger market so it make some sense for it to be that way. Plus bass is a bit more universal. For example it's more common for a p bass to be used in a metal band than a Stratocaster. And the few people who do play metal with a strat usually play ones with aftermarket humbuckers and mainly just like them for their look because their strat isn't traditional at all.

Ultimate Guitar and TDPRI are the two I have found most useful. Like someone said above, TDPRI started as a Telecaster forum but evolved, and now they are pretty willing to discuss about anything guitar-related with some very knowledgeable contributors.

But do post your guitar-related questions here in Off Topic; a lot of TB members are just as well-versed in guitar as bass. I have spent about equal time over the last 40 years immersing myself in both worlds, and I currently play lead and rhythm guitar in my main band.

I remember Harmony Central. It was a pretty cool sight. IIRC they were pretty much forced to shut down by the big dawgs. I believe they claimed copyright infringement due to it's extremely large data base for guitar & bass tabs.

Yeah it was the collection of tabs that got them. They had to redesign the site and everybody started leaving

Apparently so. Completely revamped and very magazine looking. I may have to check it out to if any real substance remains. The massive tab archive is long gone though.

I think we are very focused here. We all know that tort, flats, a PBass, and firing the drummer solve all musical issues and it's always important to mention them early on in any discussion in order to get to the heart of the issues.

'Specific' might have been better.
I feel TB is a very wide-ranging site, you'll find people here with experience of every brand, model, etc.
