Can you really connect an additional speaker cab to the B200 combo? I thought it was a 4 ohm minimum and that the speaker inside was 4 ohms.

The speaker connection on the B200 combo is wired in series. If you add an 8 ohm cab to the B200 combo the resulting load is 12 ohms.
The manual is incorrect. I have the B200 as well and it is a series connection.
My amp sold and I'm getting myself a B200 combo tomorrow! Am I right in thinking these have a 3 year warranty? That's what the manual says!
I think I might eventually get a 4 ohm 410 or 212 cab and connect them. I'd only be getting 150w but the added speaker area should make up for that!
That's right. Your total wattage will drop down to around 150 watts but because you have more speaker area, the perceived volume will be louder..
I just brought my B200 home - I won't need to add any speakers 'cause it's plenty loud!
I thought the parallel connection was better for this, but I freely admit that this is one reason why I like combos in the first place.
I bought the b100 last week and I am very pleased with its performance, I noticed it has an output for an extension speaker, anybody have a recomendation for the cabinet I should use? and what performance gains/drops can I expect? Acoustic has a 15" cabinet that looks good.
I'm going to assume that the B100 is 100w into 4 ohms and the internal speaker is 4 ohms. If you attach the 115 cab which is 8 ohms you'll be running a 12 ohm load. You might be pushing 65w through both speakers. You might want to go with a 4 ohm 115 cab so that you're running an 8 ohm load and are pushing more watts.
This is completely incorrect.
Adding a 8 ohm cab would put your total ohms at aprox. 2.6 ohms and adding a 4 ohm cab would drop it to 2 ohms. Adding more cabs LOWERS the resistance, not increases it. I don't know if the B200 is rated at 2 ohms or not, but if it is you could run either an 8 ohm or a 4 ohm extension and you'd be just fine.
