WD-40.

Thanks-I looked for sewing machine oil but the Wife’s stash of sewing supplies came up empty.

I MAY have some WD-40 around, but I did have a tube of 2% mupirocin ointment - Yeah, a simple Vaseline vehicle with a smidge of antibiotic in it- What could Possibly go Wrong??

I wiped it down pretty good after just coating the worm gear, and giving it a few good spins!

That stuff should stop the gear from getting worms at least.

If you use WD-40, just make sure it's the type with lube in it, not just the cleaner.

There are a few series I got sorta hooked on years ago and I continue to watch them. This one piqued my curiosity and it's light hearted fun. Otherwise I'm watching hockey or-if we have a season-baseball. Or at the computer on the other side of the house.

That is a very worrying drug....with it's propensity for mutagenic adaption. It looks like the UK were the only ones crazy enough to authorise it...and then sold it to India and Australia.
