No gigs this weekend(one 86'ed-COVID). Rumbles get a rest. Might fire up "the practice amp".

I used to own one of those as well; great amps!

I probably already posted this here, but I just love to show it off; when's the last time you saw one of these???

I used to own one of these as well; from the same era, but not as cool (no tubes, LOL)...

Sure, I'll take a number.
The SWR ? Love it. Hasn't missed a beat, for over 12 years. Getting a bit heavy for my old bones, though. Going to upgrade to something lighter & more modular, this year.

They were sold out. Didn’t feel like waiting for one!So, what was wrong with the RB-115?

I finally got to take my 25w Orange to church for a worship practice!
I still want the 50 though, even if the 25 works perfectly well...
OK, makes me wonder why they were sold out, though....
People like them, SR? I agree, it’s a big jump from the 115 to an eight, but when a man has to have Ampeg, nothing else will do! My grandpa told me that one.![]()
We have 2 of those in our rehearsal room. The lead guitarist uses one. I used to use the other but now prefer my Phil Jones C4 and Bugera Veyron for the tone in that room.I probably already posted this here, but I just love to show it off; when's the last time you saw one of these???
I keep this thing just in case I ever again need a big amp(yes, it's a "combo"). It's my practice amp since I seriously doubt it'll ever leave the house again. I s'pose I could sell it but I don't think I could get what I paid for it in 1970[$381.50].(Yes, I have the original BoS).

I do use a NUX solid studio inserted in the fx loop set to Bassman sim and U47 mic (it nicely warms/grunts up the class D power section).
Hello and good night!
Well, before I shove off to sleep I thought I'd drop ya our latest recording since I feel more comfortable here than anywhere else. Maybe Soul Reflection will push me beyond, but I trust your guys' opinions. This may be my best recording/mixing attempt. It seems they get a little better each time. I'm not saying it's perfect or anything, but I really like #2's lead and harmony vocals on this one. Also, I'm playing bass and rhythm guitar as a second to the song's slight lead work. And yes, there's a combo in the room where I did all this work! Now whether it was used I cannot say, but no animals were harmed in the recording of this song...
Any and all comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks, CC!
