Thanks, @G-Dog! I’m just fooling around with the presets at the moment - I have a feeling they will be more than enough for some time to come. For now I’m just happy with a great Rumble, with all the comforts of home and a huge number of new options to keep things interesting!Very che schweet, Jake! Happy birthday! The RS40 is a veritable box just chock full o' goodies. I can't get enough of mine. Here's hoping you don't get overwhelmed with the depth of the configuration possibilities. I'm still a bit intimidated of mine.But I look forward to delving more deeply later on.

While am beink here, just am wonderink vhy head of Combo Club usink picture of amp stack for avatar? Is irony lost on everyone but me? Is veddy nice stack, but is stack, not combo, right? I mean, sure, is makink exception for heads hardwired to cabs and "callink" them combos for sentiments sake. But dis is not dat, am I right?
Don't gettink me wrong. Am not throwing rocks. I admit to enjoyink amp threads most, but my avatar is bass. What up wit dat? I dunno. I sometimes strive for inconsistency, maybe. Keeps life interestink.
And, of course, is no one more interestink than Fearless Leader! His example is beyond the ability to peck. Aw, hail Fearless One!

Good evening, folks. Fresh from a long week of...December. Not a bad weekend ahead, work-wise, other then I do need to practice our holiday tunes.
Another 7:15 AM rehearsal this morn, this time on our stage. Boy, does that make your amp look and feel tiny! The 100 sounded real good but only for stage volume. DI is a must for the gym, but I got a nice Rumbling tone running tone controls flat (a rarity) and the boost at 9:00. Volume was around 1:00, I think.
Ran with the Jazz bass today too. Not as warm as the hollow-body, but better lower-bass authority. Great combination. “Up on the Housetop” never sounded better!
Speaking of combos, yes G’Dog, guilty as charged concerning that avatar.” I just tend to run where my heart tells me and I was feeling Superbeetle. What if I told you I glued the head on top of the cab?
I didn’t think so. In order to make restitution, I hereby promise to promote combo’s the entire weekend. It’s the least I can do. Plus, if I don’t do something a little wacky every now and then you’ll never do your Russian accent for your mates!
