I imagine a post-EQ out on an Orange Terror could go in any effects return? Is that how it works? It is a 1975 orange VW Golf that I drive freely enough to have some question my road manners. It's very hard not to be seen in an orange car. It's a mixed blessing, really. Imagine for a moment one wishes to have a private visit, yet must park a singular car on a street one's father may use on the way to work

Ya know, while I do think a single 15 works best when using one cab, I might consider their 112 cabinet if someone was looking for an early Christmas gift for yours truly. Perfect for practice and rehearsal.

M, you’ve got the vision so do it. Your bandmates will state when you come walking in with bass in one hand and a slender black zippered bag of sweetness inside. I say sweetness because it’s says Orange on the outside.

Then you’ll set it up and Terror will set in!

I recall mine had a black interior? Mine was equal parts fun and infuriating. Not nearly so much as any Alfa Romeo is both fun and infuriating. My VW was like a "starter Alfa" for roadside frustration

Hah, my ride (Shared with siblings) at that age was a grenade green Ford Pinto!. In ‘73, I Graduated to a 69 Chevelle Deluxe straight 6 230 1 barrel. Grate body shape, but very ‘econo’ minded. While having a better paint job, it could not hold a candle to my buddy’s mom’s Chevelle 396 4 barrel....

While we are talking about first rides, here's mine (or one like it), 7 years old in 1965. A '58 Ford Thames Van. Mine had mini West Coast mirrors and was painted gold-flaked chocolate brown and had signs on the back side-panels that said "Soul Reflections" with a number to call for bookings:

You speakin’ my language, JPD. Though I was too young to drive, watching Novas, Mach 1s, and Road Runners rambling up and down the street piqued my interest in fine cars. My first drive: a ‘68 Ford Falcon. So much for blazing American metal! Nonetheless, I loved her.

Before I head, here’s an interesting email I received from Germany this morning. If anyone’s interested, look us up on the web. I have no details other than what’s below, but for those looking to try something different, ya might want to give it a shot.

“A little surprise: In November we will play a world premiere together, which will be presented at the international "FAIR SATURDAY FESTIVAL" among others. Therefore it would be great if you could motivate other musicians to be part of this orchestra as well.”

My first ride was a 72 baby blue Dodge Dart with a slant six. When I went to the gas station it was fill the oil and check the gas. I must have pushed that thing home at least once a month. In the end I did seize the engine due a lack of oil.

My first car was an early-to-mid-60s Cedric. Made by Nissan in Japan it was, by their standards, a real boat. I could’ve hefted an Ampeg fridge into that back seat if the door had opened wide enough! And me a combo guy!

This was fun, comboites. It stirred up such wonderful memories I looked up images of the family Ford. As big a PITA the Internet can be, it does allow us to take a trip in our first auto down Memory Lane.

There is FX loop with a tube-driven send. It also has a post-EQ/volume DI that sounds terrific and sends my signal to my DAW.

M, what are you thinking? The TB running through your squadron of speakers still isn’t enough volume?

Circa 1970s Vibro Champ. I was 15 and decided the world needed another lefty guitarist. Armed with a used Epi Dot, right-handed of course, I spent a solid week trying to figure it out with the help of a Mel Bay book and a pick. I returned it, head in hand, when I realized it was a terrible impulse buy. It would be a quarter-century later before I would attempt that same instrument again.

Off to prepare lessons for the week. Then it’s time to do a little recording today. SR, prepare your CA abode for an upcoming seismic event!
