The Combo Club

Lost me. ???

Somehow, it's the Duraflame that makes me think this is not a photo from your house. :cautious:
Another "Laugh-In" reference. Each week the hosts would award 'the finger' to someone who f---ed* up as a "zinger". I was gonna upload one, but they're mostly political, so,........... Google it.

Put up our tree and wrapped some presents already.

We always set up the Christmas tree on Thanksgiving!

:D

b, you are a man after my own Grinchiness. That is the "official" Christmas tree in 5A, my homeroom, and has been for a number of years. The old fake tree literally fell apart after years of use and the CB tree was the remedy at the time. For our two days of holiday music programs, we're asked to haul down the class tree and display it prominently on the gym floor flanking the audience. And, true to my 5A's wacky personality, the Charlie Brown tree sits proudly next to the six-foot trees. It's a beautiful sight!

Super happy to have deGASsed on the hornless Rumble 200, it would have bugged me even if I never used it. Current setup of Rumble 40+Acoustic B100 split via Line6 Pod Go is giving me incredible and fast ability to dial in precisely what I seek with both a 10" and a 15" available, each with it's own EQ. Practicing and playing to songs is superb with this rig. More resources available for Give Tuesday which is a total win.

I'll bet there's a new combo under there - maybe Ampeg??;)

Getting close to switcheroo time isn't it?

b...the only member in this club snarkier than the rest of us snarky members! I was thinking it but wasn't gonna utter a syllable. It's too much like yelling at the guy in the mirror. Heck, I was kicking around this weekend buying a Markbass CMD 101 Micro 60 combo because the price was good and I like its options. Anyway, the other five combos sitting in the house were lonely. I'm over it now...maybe.

Hey guys, can anyone help me identify this ampeg combo? it's on Craigslist as an add on to a bass but the seller has no idea. View attachment 4070881

nuage, I'm so glad you brought this to Detective McAmpeg...me. Well, not really, but I am a curious bloke who likes a challenge. By the looks of it, and I could be way off, it seems to be a first-generation BA combo, possibly a BA-110 or BA-112 (I can't quite tell the size though it's sitting on a chair, meaning it can't be too big). The carrying handle, white piping, and top panel knobs are my pieces of evidence. Obviously, the grill has been altered, from black to tan, but the weaving looks to be standard issue Ampeg.

I'd estimate it's the age to be between five and 15 years old and by the looks, I'd say it's in good condition. That is, of course, without hearing it. If you're looking to buy I'd keep it below a hundred schmackeroons, especially if it's the 110. Maybe $125-150 for the 112 if everything works.

@iagtrplyr you sir are amazing. thank you! I'll be passing. he's firm on 350 foo that and an ibanez sr300. granted he's tossing in a HSC ann a stand and it isn't a bad deal, I just don't need either. now if that happened to be a vintage amp... it would be a completely different story.
The brown screen threw me off and the tolex vs the vintage checker.
