The Official Bill Fitzmaurice Appreciation Thread

Bill is one guy who ALWAYS knows what he's talking about. He has filled in several holes in my knowledge of speakers, audio, and acoustics, and what I've learned from him has proven to be quite valuable. And I love his efficient, no-nonsense delivery!:)

Thanks, Bill!

I'd better give props to Bill also .

Like everyone else I've learned and un-learned more about speakers and how they work than I ever thought possible reading Bills posts . I have incorperated the knowledge he shares on Talkbass in changing my rig to work better and to experiment with different crossovers and drivers in my cabs . I would never have been able to have the success that I enjoy from my rig without his posts and constant stances on what works and doesn't .

Also , anyone who designs horn loaded speaker systems that work in the modern sound arena has my great respect . I've always enjoyed horn systems ever since I started using Altec A7s and JBL 4560s back in the early 70's .Although those systems are way outdated it's nice to see someone who has greatly improved on those designs .

Thanks a ton Bill

Hey Bill, could you PLEASE learn to be a Luthier too?
I am, but just doing speakers takes up 25 hours a day. My axe:
