The Elwood body is more like a J bass and the Jake body is more like a P bass ... do I have that right?
Alright .... I'm 90% finished with my custom order ..... but I'd like some advice please.
Here's what I have so far...
I'm looking for a Punchy, fat, slap happy tone with lots of low end as well.....
I chose these Delano pups but I'm not 100% it's the best way to go ..... I'm going passive with this bass.
What do you all think? I'd appreciate the advice, it's the last part of the configuration for me ....
Also, the black pickgaurd or the Cream Pearl?

lol this has been my dilemma the past week or so. Too many options!!
I'm down to the pickups ..... the "make or break" part of the bass ..... ugh, too many choices! - I need someone to tell me "Bro, you need to have the (fill in the blank) pups installed, it'll give you exactly the tones you're looking for" .....

Look, you gotta go for those Haeussels!
Are you opting for an Elwood? I've got the Haeussel Single coils with active/passive electronics and they give me the smoothest sound *drool* Don't have ANY experience with Other Single coil, but honestly no need to look for something else.
