Maruszczyk Sputniks are mostly lightweight - ~4 kilos or less - that is great, but price is reaaally high. Maybe one day, after I rob a bank...

Man, you all are making me want to take down my listing in the classifieds. My Jake is loaded with Delano and Haussel pickups. Seeing these pics and realizing how special these things are is making me think hard about keeping mine and learning to cope with the 19mm spacing.
This is good news. Can you share with me your frog's specification in details (bridge tuner bodywood topwood neck board and a picture)? I really would also like to get down to less than 3.5kg (7.7lbs).The Frogs have quite large bodies. Might be the reason for the extra weight compared to the Sputnik. Nevertheless, my (headless) Frog is pretty lightweight too: 3.48 kg / 7.67 lbs.

Appreciated
Does anyone here have a 32-inch, medium-scale Frog? I'd like to see where the bridge sits relative to the end of the body. I've done an image search, but haven't had much luck. It looks like the 32-inch Jake and Elwood position the bridge close to the end of the body, so I'm hoping the Frog will be similar.
See my post above. But mine is headless.
Ah it's 32 medium scale + 4 strings bass + headless + passive electronics = 3.48kg.
With a 34 normal scale + 5 strings + non-headless + active = no way to be less than 3.5 kg for a frog I guess...![]()
Unfortunately I asked Adrian he said frog is not chamberable.Maybe if they chamber the body and use lightweight tuners?

If anyone has any personal experience with both Frog and Sputnik please hit me up, they both look so good! I wonder which of them plays best on stage or prolonged practice session.
"Bo" does some of the greatest bass demo's on YouTube ...... I'd kill a man to be able to groove this hard and have that kind of tone come from my right hand. This young lady clearly doesn't get enough exposure!
Oh, That looks like a nice addition to the line.
If they put this series on the configurator, so we can choose some things, I will be in!
Great to know!step by step all models will be added for very sure , Adrian told me however its really ultra time consuming to program and "code in" ...so will be step by step
